The crisis at the border is getting no better. In fact, in recent weeks, we’ve seen it boil over into new and terrifying ways. Thanks to Biden, tens of thousands of Haitian migrants flooded the country. When Border Patrol used what limited resources they had to stop them, liberals flipped out.
Democrats (who all conveniently live far, far away from the border) were outraged over what was going on. Not because illegal aliens were invading our country, but that Border Patrol was using horses to protect the border. Biden’s administration appears to be punishing Border Patrol, taking away their horses and other resources.
It’s possible that Border agents who try to do the right thing will lose their jobs. So, Texas Gov. Abbott has a plan.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) said during an interview on Sunday that he will hire U.S. Border Patrol agents if they are at risk of being fired by the Biden administration amidst the recent developments at the border…
“But the last thing I will tell you is what the President said going after the Border Patrol, who were risking their lives and working so hard to try to secure the border, if he takes any action against them whatsoever, I have worked side by side with those Border Patrol agents,” Abbott continued. “I want them to know something, if they are at risk of losing their job, got a president who is abandoning his duty to secure the border, you have a job in the state of Texas. I will hire you to help Texas secure our border.” [Source: Daily Wire]
Thanks to Joe Biden, the situation at the border is out of control. Texas border towns are being trampled by invaders. The rest of the state is suffering as thousands of illegals flood the country (soon to reach your neighborhoods). While Democrats in other states can ignore it, Democrats who are responsible for border districts are sounding the alarm.
Gov. Abbott is taking serious steps to do what Biden refuses. He has raised money to build a Texas border all. He has signed legislation that will ensure illegals are jailed for up to one year. He has even taken creative steps in the interim to prevent illegals from crossing the border, including using police vehicles as a barrier.
The state has sued the administration over violating our immigration law. And on top of that, Abbott is promising to hire any Border Patrol agents Biden fires.
It shouldn’t be a surprise to know that Biden is trying to dismantle and destroy Border Patrol. Their chief, a man who served to protect our border for decades, was unceremoniously fired. We can be sure that Biden will appoint PC administrators who will make it impossible for agents to do their jobs. Those who actually try to apprehend illegals and protect the border will most likely be fired.
Abbott’s decision will not only ensure good agents can continue to work, but that our border will remain safe. Regardless of Biden’s best efforts.
