Biden Economic Advisor Admits Recession Might Be Coming

If there’s one thing we can count on from Joe Biden, it’s that he refuses to admit anything is his fault. Our country was recovering just fine by the end of 2020. Trump’s economic policies ensured that we would rebound from baseless lockdowns and other restrictions. And that was happening until Joe Biden entered office.

Almost immediately, he pushed radical policies that reversed Trump’s America-first agenda. He tried to shove as much of the “Green New Deal” through executive orders as possible. That’s not mentioning his open border, vaccine mandates, and stimulus payments, all of which hammered our economy. Now, many Americans struggle to make ends meet as inflation wipes out their paychecks.

And it seems, that one of Biden’s economic advisors admits the worst might be coming.

National Economic Council Director Brian Deese said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there was a risk of the United States falling into an economic recession.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “Yes or no, is the U.S. falling into a recession?”

Deese said, “There are always risks… There’s no doubt we face serious global challenges, inflation first and foremost among them, and it’s hitting families hard…”

Bash said, “But you’re not saying no?”

Deese said, “Look, there are always risks, but we feel very good about where the United States is, particularly when you look on the global landscape.” [Source: Breitbart]

As usual, a Biden administration staffer refused to give a legitimate answer. Whenever a politician goes into a lengthy explanation, when asked a yes or no question, you know they are lying. And Deese refused to tell CNN that America would not experience a recession. Instead, he yammered on about how “strong” we are (compared to countries mired in socialism, who were hammered by prolonged lockdowns).

He admits that the inflation crisis is a major problem. But, as usual, he refuses to admit it was Biden’s fault or what the administration is doing to fix it. Instead, Deese claimed we were going to do well, because of our “resilience” and other factors that have nothing to do with the administration.

That’s because Deese knows that if we avoid a recession, it will be a miracle. And if we don’t, everyone will blame Biden. As the economy continues to crumble, Biden is doing his best to deflect, avoid, or ignore. But his staff has the difficult job of answering the media’s probing questions.

None of them are doing a good job. Deese essentially admitted a recession is coming but wasn’t willing to take the blame.
