According to Fox News Digital, two youths in Texas have been detained and jailed after they were suspected of stabbing a woman who was hospitalized and in serious condition.
Around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, there was a stabbing at a house on April Valley Court in Harris County. After a potential altercation with the 59-year-old female victim, the boys, who are seven and twelve years old, went back to their house.
The boys immediately left the site after the event. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said that a life flight took the woman to a hospital.
Sergio Torres, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, stated, “From what I’ve heard, it was simply a verbal altercation.”
According to Torres, “the female looked to have many knife wounds to her abdomen area.” Torres took the woman to a local hospital, where she is currently undergoing surgery. Her condition is severe.”
The New York Post reports that the identity of the youngster facing stabbing charges remains unclear. Local media has allegedly charged the 12-year-old, but the Harris County sheriff’s office has not yet confirmed this information.
There have been several stabbing incidents in Texas within the last few weeks, in addition to the one that occurred recently. A guy reportedly stabbed another man over fitness equipment in mid-February, leading to his arrest and imprisonment.
According to a complaint, the event happened at a LA Fitness in North Austin on February 16. “It’s going to require some patience if you’re going to a public gym,” stated Andrew Puno, a member of LA Fitness.
One gym patron, nevertheless, was unable to wait much longer.
“I guess we live in some weird times,” Puno remarked.
There was already someone using the leg press machine at the LA Fitness location when the man arrived, according to court documents. Upon finishing his task, the man operating the machine instructed the other man to go and do something different.
Puno stated, “If people are following the given guidelines, which state that equipment usage should last between 10 and 20 minutes, then you shouldn’t have someone get that impatient.”
The man reportedly waited patiently until the first man had completed using the machine, according to court records. Eventually the machine did come online, and the man concluded his workout and headed to the locker room.
According to reports, the man who used the machine first began shouting at the second man who tried to use it. According to the complaint, the guy who initially used the machine, John Makinson, 69, chased the second man around the toilet with a knife after stabbing him in the buttocks.
