Republicans Reveal Why Democrats Really Fear Trump

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) told Breitbart News on Saturday that, in light of Donald Trump’s charge, Democrats are scared he will re-enter the Oval Office because he will “let the whole truth ring out” as he brings down corruption in Washington.

As a New York grand jury chose to arrest Donald Trump, rendering him the first former president to be charged with criminal charges, Van Drew, a member of the House judiciary panel, spoke to Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle. District Attorney for Manhattan Alvin Bragg got money from socialist millionaire George Soros inadvertently. $1 million was given by Soros to the Color of Change PAC, which later contributed to Bragg’s campaign.

Van Drew, a former Democrat who left the party in protest of Donald Trump’s impeachment, stated that Dems. are scared about what Trump might do if re-elected in 2024.

“This is a sickness with the Democrats at this juncture,” he said in an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday. “They are unable to stop themselves. Just to name a few, we had the Russian connection, the issues with Ukraine, one impeachment, another impeachment, and so on. They just can’t let it go. They are, in my view, so afraid of this man because they are aware that, should he earn reelection to the presidency of the United States, he will speak the truth. He’ll open up that ugly egg we call Washington, DC, and let all the odor, corruption, and other crap out.”

Bragg is a “half-ass local DA,” according to Van Drew, who is pursuing Trump for what is essentially a “misdemeanor.”

While New York City is “dirtier, more unsafe, and more dangerous than it has ever been,” the New Jersey Republican criticized Bragg for chasing Trump.
