Michelle Obama Makes A 2024 Announcement

Michelle Obama will not run for president, according to Crystal Carson, director of communications for the former first lady’s campaign.

Carson said, “As Michelle Obama has stressed several times over the previous years, she will not make a run for president,” according to the newspaper. “Mrs. Obama supports President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ reelection efforts.”

“We are happy to have their voice and their support in the fight for the fate of our democracy this November,” said Kevin Munoz, a spokesman for the Biden campaign. “We were able to beat Trump and elect Biden and Harris for the first time with the support of President Obama and Michelle,” NBC News reported.

The former first lady said in 2022 that she had decided not to run for president and that she detested it when people asked. She made this statement in an interview with Naga Munchetty of “BBC Breakfast.”

Biden appears to be sailing to victory in the Democratic primary for president in 2024. Biden served as vice president to President Barack Obama for eight years in the past. At 86 years old, Biden would be the oldest president in American history upon the completion of his second term.

According to the Associated Press, the president fared well in the Democratic presidential primary elections on Super Tuesday.
