The former media secretary used her MSNBC platform this week to make fun of people who claimed to be concerned about mass immigration. Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid also enthusiastically supported her endeavor.
Psaki participated in a discussion looking at the exit polls and the primary results, and she could not help but poke fun at Virginia voters who are worriedabout the chaotic situation at the southern border.
“Look at some of these exit surveys, for example. I mean, I live in Virginia,” Psaki said. “The main problem was immigration.”
Reid chuckled and said, “Yes.”
“Once more, things might alter in Virginia,” Psaki added.
Maddow interjected, saying, “Well, Virginia does in fact have a border with West Virginia. It’s a really contentious territory.”
Critics quickly brought up the fact that every state, including Virginia, had become a border state as a result of three years of Biden’s nearly open-border policies, as well as the fact that governors of red border states had been transporting illegal immigrants to “sanctuary cities” and the Biden White House had been covertly flying illegals across the nation.

In his answer, Stephen Miller—a former adviser to President Donald Trump—provided further information, saying that almost one in eight people living in Virginia are foreign-born. In Virginia, one in four very young youngsters has a parent who was born abroad. For instance, almost 20% of kids in Fairfax County Public Schools have trouble speaking English. Virginia has radically changed due to migration.
An illegal immigrant from Venezuela was detained and accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl in Campbell County, Virginia, two weeks ago. In September 2023, he had entered El Paso, Texas, illegally, and the federal authorities had freed him to enter the country, according to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.
“So there are no longer any issues at the border?” Tim Murtaugh asked. “It’s really difficult to follow the Democrats’ thinking on this.”
