Democrats really have nothing better to do than to come up with more reasons to bash Trump. Really, even with the man out of office, they still are trying to discredit him. That’s how much they fear the guy—and his continued influence on the country.
They really thought they had him beat after January 6. Without an investigation or a shred of evidence, Nancy Pelosi and her cronies rushed a second impeachment of Trump, claiming he was responsible for the riot in D.C. What was so shocking about their “outraged” was that none of the Democrats demanding justice over that riot cared about the countless riots that occurred all throughout 2020.
We were supposed to believe that some confused Trump supporters (along with left-wing agitators) were trying to stage an “insurrection” when they stormed the Capitol. But all those BLM and Antifa anarchists the burned down cities, attacked courthouses, and looted stores were just exercising their rights? Give me a break.
Now, the left is trying to drum up a “commission” to investigate January 6—as if it were the crime of the century. Clearly, all they want to do is keep that minor event in the minds of Americans, so they can continue to use it against Trump. But the 45th president had some strong words for GOP leadership.
“Republicans in the House and Senate should not approve the Democrat trap of the January 6 Commission. It is just more partisan unfairness and unless the murders, riots, and fire bombings in Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago, and New York are also going to be studied, this discussion should be ended immediately. Republicans must get much tougher and much smarter, and stop being used by the Radical Left. Hopefully, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are listening!” Trump said. [Source: Just the News]
Trump slammed the left’s bogus attempt to start a commission. He knows exactly why they are performing this particular piece of political theater. And he is demanding Republicans in Congress reject this move, unless the left is willing to also investigate the hundreds of riots that took place over the summer in 2020.
What would happen if they bothered to investigate those riots? Well, they’d find out that Democrats were behind them! It’s no secret that Antifa and Black Lives Matter are closely associated with the Democratic Party. BLM uses the same fund-raising app for crying out loud.
There is no way the left would come out scot-free, if they investigated who organized and supported those riots. Especially when we know that Kamala Harris and many other Democrats bailed out rioters.
But for some odd reason, Democrats aren’t all that concerned with those riots. Even though the people involved regularly call for the overthrow of the U.S. government. And how they resulted in billions of dollars worth of damage.
No, the real investigation must be held over an event that was minor by comparison. All so the left can muster up more ammunition against the one man they fear more than anyone else.
Something tells me, though, that they are going to fail again.
