Federal Judge Exposes Biden Agenda–Shuts Down Radical Energy Policy

We all know Joe Biden is to blame for the current energy crisis. Under Trump, America was leading the world in energy production. We were producing more energy than anyone else and were exporting more than any other country. But that kind of American excellence gets in the way of corrupt globalists, who bow to the likes of China. So, when China Joe took over, he took many steps to turn our country into the servant of OPECE, Russia, and the Red Menace.

But it was much worse than you think. You probably know about how he banned drilling on federal land. Or how he canceled the Keystone XL pipeline. All this, while he begged other countries to drill more oil. That was only the tip of the iceberg for Biden’s war against American energy. He passed countless orders that crippled our energy industry. One drastically increased the CO2 fines companies had to pay. But one federal judge just froze him in his tracks.

A Louisiana federal district court has halted a key climate initiative from Joe Biden that he implemented shortly after becoming president last year.

In a Friday ruling, U.S. District Judge James Cain blocked Biden’s January 2021 executive order that factored in the “social cost” of carbon emissions when creating rules regulating pollution…

The judge issued an injunction that bars the Biden administration from using the higher cost estimate, which puts a dollar value on damages caused by every additional ton of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere…

President Joe Biden on his first day in office restored the climate cost estimate to about $51 per ton of carbon dioxide emissions after the Trump administration had reduced the figure to about $7 or less per ton. [Source: Fox Business]

One of the more pathetic attempts by climate alarmists to “save” the planet is to punish energy companies by charging them for CO2 emissions. The lie is that if the government forces companies to pay for the emissions they produce, it will result in a greener environment. You can see the obvious problem. These fines result in less energy being produced, punishing Americans who have to pay more for electricity (and heat, and gas, and so on).

These “cost estimates” do not produce alternative sources of energy, they just clamp down on the ones we already have (and work). Biden ramped up the fines to $51 per ton of CO2. Trump had set it to $7 per ton. Such a drastic change would have put energy companies in a hard place.

But this affected more than just energy producers, but any company that operates in the United States. Wonder why there are supply constraints? Why we have less of everything in the grocery stores? A part of it is because Biden was hammering companies with these emission costs. Companies had to scale down production because they were paying these ridiculous costs.

It seems Biden is going out of his way to hurt Americans. Yet he’s encouraging Iran, China, and Russia to expand.

Is this guy working for the enemy?
