You must ask yourself why the most ‘progressive’ lawmakers are so hellbent on spending trillions upon trillions of dollars during a period of record inflation.
Their eagerness to pass social spending packages per Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda has caused moderate Democrats, like Sens. Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema, to question the motives of so-called progressives who know that high inflation negatively affects working-class Americans.
Congress’ far-left coalition, including Sen. Bernie Sanders, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her ‘Squad’, make it their mission to pretend to care about America’s working class while simultaneously advocating for the exact policies that will harm them the most.
Sanders, AOC, et al claim to be fighting for an invisible working class who just so happens to be passionate about left-wing politics even though they simply don’t exist anywhere in the U.S. outside of university campuses.
This creates a perfect villain for Bernie and other far-left lawmakers as they can constantly direct their rage at the “billionaire” — or any lawmaker who gets in the way of their massive social spending measures.
Manchin informed Democratic leadership on Thursday that he would not support tax increases on the wealthy or new clean energy spending as part of an economic agenda Democrats hoped to consider this summer.
Manchin said in a radio interview that it was “not prudent” to pass a significant spending bill as inflation is “wreaking havoc” on people across the United States, per the Guardian.
Over the weekend, Sen. Sanders, AOC, and her ‘Squad’ of far-left lawmakers unleashed fire and fury against Sen. Joe Manchin for refusing to sign off on additional federal spending during record-high inflation.
“He has sabotaged the president’s agenda,” Sanders said of Manchin. “The problem was we continued to talk to Manchin like he was serious,” he added later.
Sen. Joe Manchin is “intentionally sabotaging the president's agenda, what the American people want, what a majority of us in the Democratic caucus want,” Sen. Bernie Sanders tells @MarthaRaddatz.

Here, Bernie implies that Manchin can only be taken seriously when he signs off on Biden’s radical spending measures that add trillions to the national debt and will undoubtedly create more financial hardship for average American citizens.
The socialist lawmaker called Manchin’s inflation concerns “nonsense”, claiming the West Virginia Democrat has been voicing these same concerns “for a year.”
AOC shared Bernie’s sentiments, making headlines of her own by calling out Manchin.

Always adept at social media, AOC took to Instagram to clear up why the House seems to pass far-left legislation quicker than the Senate.

Fellow ‘Squad’ member and ex-wife of her own brother, Rep. Ilhan Omar parroted similar talking points chiding Sen. Manchin’s decision to hold off on additional spending until inflation normalizes.

It’s enraging the way these so-called ‘progressives’ who ostensibly care about working-class Americans will advocate for policies so antithetical to the best interests of workers.
By raising their taxes, raising inflation, and raising gas prices, the far-left is in fact advocating for the total destruction of the very group they claim to champion.
