Joe Biden returned home from the Middle East this weekend empty-handed and embarrassed.
The aging, ineffectual U.S. President not only failed to achieve any resolution for mounting domestic problems, such as our lack of oil supply, but he also severely misrepresented his intentions with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and even lied about their meeting.
Saudi Arabian officials contradicted Biden on more than one occasion as he touched down in the U.S. without any oil or any peace deal, despite his earlier claims.
The entire mission for Biden’s trip (to secure an oil deal and normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia) failed miserably, made worse by recent claims by Saudi officials, many of whom are contradicting the U.S.
On Saturday, MBS cast doubt on Biden’s promise to boost oil production and bring down prices, saying his country had almost reached its capacity and could increase production only nominally to 13 million barrels per day.
Mohammed Bin Salman: "No additional capacity beyond 13 million bpd of oil production."

Even that number is only expected to be reached by 2027.
The Saudi Prince, like most of the West, couldn’t bear to withstand Biden’s hypocrisy as he hunts for more oil while simultaneously pushing for “unrealistic” green energy policies.
“Adopting unrealistic policies to reduce emissions by excluding main sources of energy will lead in coming years to unprecedented inflation and an increase in energy prices and rising unemployment and a worsening of serious social and security problems,” the Prince said.
Biden also blatantly misrepresented a recent air defense alliance between Arab states and Israel — a supposed Middle East version of NATO meant to counter Iran.
“This is the first tangible step on the path of what I hope will eventually be a broader normalization of relations,” Biden claimed while in the Middle East.
But this series of events in no way aligns with how Saudi officials envision this supposed ‘normalization.’
According to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Iran’s decision to open its skies for all flight carriers had “nothing to do with diplomatic ties with Israel” and was “not in any way precursor to any further steps” towards a normalization deal.
Iran has also not yet agreed to allow direct flights between Israel and Saudi Arabia for Israeli-Muslim pilgrims, contradicting another promise by the Biden administration.
Essentially, Biden was a walking calamity while in the Middle East.

Don’t worry, though, the adults are back!
