If there’s a name you will probably be happy to never hear again, it’s Anthony Fauci. The self-proclaimed “voice of science” was propped up by the liberal media as the country’s foremost “expert” on COVID-19. That’s mainly because he spread as much doom-and-gloom, advocating pointless and damaging lockdowns, as possible.
Not only did that irritate and frustrate Americans to no end, but his credibility was shot when emails revealed he was lying and or wrong about much of what he said. The man himself previously questioned COVID vaccines (when President Trump was developing them), then later demanded we all get vaccinated and boosted (when Joe Biden was in office).
Now, arguably the second-most hated man in America is announcing his retirement, after over thirty years of fleecing the public.
Dr. Anthony Fauci announced his plan to retire at the end of President Joe Biden’s term in a new interview published Monday, lamenting Americans were no longer listening to his recommendations on masking or vaccines…
“We’re in a pattern now. If somebody says, ‘You’ll leave when we don’t have Covid anymore,’ then I will be 105. I think we’re going to be living with this,” he said…
He predicted Republicans would start to investigate him if they take leadership in the House of Representatives in November, but insisted that was not why he planned to retire…
“It’s becoming more and more difficult to get people to listen, because even the people who are compliant want this behind them,” Fauci said, pleading for Americans to continue wearing masks in certain situations and getting regular booster shots of the coronavirus vaccine. [Source: Breitbart]
Not only was Fauci wrong, again and again, over his predictions about COVID, but his legacy was mired by controversial decisions and experiments. Including experiments out of Africa his agency funded which tortured puppies. And the ongoing questions about his agency’s support of the Wuhan lab, from which originated COVID-19.
Fauci complains that people are no longer listening to his tired, useless, and lecturing “advice.” But he himself admits that COVID will be around for a while, contradicting the very policies he was pushing for over two years.
The “slow the spread” BS was his idea, assuming that if we locked down and crippled our society, COVID would just blow over us (even when experts, back then, said otherwise). Now, conveniently, Fauci is admitting COVID is here to stay, making lockdowns, mask mandates, and every other constitutional-violating policy pointless.
But this is the very reason Americans stopped listening to his bunko artist. Fauci never told the truth. He only pushed whatever policy was convenient for the corrupt liberal establishment. He was just a yes-man, who sacrificed truth and science for the left’s agenda (and his own massive payout).
Fauci is the highest-paid government employee by a country mile. He will retire a millionaire, after conning the world again and again.
Yet he has the audacity to be upset that we are done with him. If he had a shred of brains, he’d get out ASAP.
