AMC Theaters immediately postponed the release of a documentary that included the perspectives of young individuals who de-transitioned after undergoing hormone therapy and operations to ostensibly “affirm” their “gender identity.”
The first showing of “No Way Back: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care” was scheduled for June 21 in several cinemas around the nation. The movie’s creators claim that AMC gave in to pressure from the Queer Trans Project, a transgender organization that hasn’t seen the entire movie and has been waging a de-platforming campaign.
The distributor of “No Way Back,” Deplorable Films, argued that the implication that detransitioning is “conversion therapy” by the “QT Project” is “a weak and underhanded effort to confuse detransitioning with an extremely despicable and occasionally catastrophic technique of the past. It could possibly be noteworthy here that there is a notorious repressive theocracy on the opposite side of the world where ‘gender-affirming’ operations is the only choice given to gay men and women, who otherwise could be killed under the law.”
“Perhaps they’re on the payroll of the people who profit from this,” the distribution business said, “as a lot of what they’re doing has resulted in the development of life-long surgical as well as pharmaceutical patients as doing so to the great advantage of specific surgical facilities and pharmaceutical firms.”
Deplorable Films continued, “It is pretty clear that individuals waging this battle against this film have not been given the decency to see it before taking such drastic measures to suppress it.”
The movie also includes five young individuals who have de-transitioned and the medical experts. Abel, a 26-year-old actor who plays one character in the movie, talked to The Daily Wire about his youth transition to womanhood and subsequent de-transition.
Abel told The Daily Wire, “I would advise anyone who is considering the transition, particularly the young boys who believe life would be simpler since they are the epitome of a manly guy, that the transition wouldn’t benefit them.”
“It would essentially ruin their life. Actually, stand back and give this some thought for a time,” he said. “Nobody will inform you of the genuine harmful side effects, even if that is the outcome they believe they want.”
When she was 22 years old, Laura, a young actress from “No Way Back,” informed The Daily Wire that she had undergone a double mastectomy, taken a high amount of testosterone, and had her healthy breasts removed.
“Because children are still developing,” Laura said, “there should be a total prohibition on all transition operations for minors, both medically and socially. They just aren’t able to give their permission to these long-term procedures because they don’t have the bodies nor the brains to be capable to make long-term choices regarding their reproductive and sexual wellbeing.”
