As we are all well aware, Democrats are allowed to play by a completely different set of rules than Conservatives.
If Former President Trump decides to hold a campaign rally with massive crowds and hoards of supporters, the media calls it a super spreader event. When another former president, Barack Obama, decides to hold a 60th birthday bash with 700 attendees, he’s given a pass. The Mainstream Media, nor the White House condemn Obama for his event despite the growing concern over the so-called “delta variant.”
In fact, the White House not only turned the other cheek, but defended former president Barack Obama’s decision to host a massive 60th birthday bash at Martha’s Vineyard. The new CDC guidelines do not apply because he is the Democrat Party’s golden child.
“I would note first that former President Obama has been a huge advocate of individuals getting vaccinated,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki began in defense of Obama.

According to reports, Obama’s event will feature over 475 invited guests and at least 200 staff members. Such a heavily attended, star-studded event of this kind would ordinarily be condemned by Psaki and the media, but since it’s Obama there’s no mention of the potential risk factor.
Psaki defended the Obama birthday bash, noting that it would be held outdoors and that Martha’s Vineyard was in a “moderate” spread zone identified by the CDC. She also said that Obama’s event would have some level of testing for the virus for attendees.
The party will take place at Martha’s Vineyard on the Obama family’s $12 million estate. The guest list is impressive, and will even feature a musical performance from Pearl Jam.
Pearl Jam recently made headlines by banning all unvaccinated fans from attending their concerts.
Martha’s Vineyard boards of health last week issued a mask advisory for anyone unable to maintain social distance or while indoors, presumably anyone attending the party.
Psaki referred additional questions from reporters about the event to Obama and his staff.
President Joe Biden is not expected to attend the event, according to the White House.
