Biden Has A New Plan For Total Internet Control

A new “digital equity” proposal from the Biden administration appears to be an attempt to regulate every facet of the internet.

The plan calls for the FCC to implement a comprehensive set of government rules that will impact all internet services and infrastructure.

“Never before in the 40-year history of the public internet has our FCC claimed this degree of control over it.”

Glenn Beck cautions, “This is breathtaking control of all information.”

“The federal government has an ongoing mandate to micromanage almost every aspect of how the internet functions,” says Brendan Carr, the commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission, in a statement.

The way that internet service providers allocate cash, where they develop, and the services that consumers can purchase will all be impacted by this. It will also have an impact on how profitable they can become, how they promote and advertise their services, and the discounts and promotions that customers can take advantage of.

Glenn is appalled not only by what this signifies for the internet as a whole, but also by the potential impact on TheBlaze, his own firm.

“This has such broad implications that even TheBlaze, being on the internet’s backbone, will now have to abide by government FCC regulations,” he claims.

Glenn has 48 years of experience doing broadcasts under FCC regulations, so he is well-versed in the implications for free expression.

He declares, “This is a very big deal.”
