Most Americans (rightly) blame Joe Biden for the gas price crisis. He shut down American energy production, leading to shortages and skyrocketing prices. Yet this morally bankrupt administration refuses to take responsibility for the problem, blaming everyone from gas stations to Putin.
He recently announced a trip to Saudi Arabia, where he’ll beg the Arabs to produce more oil. He refuses to let American companies drill more (and make more money) but he has no problem if foreigners do it. However, the French president revealed the Saudis are “at maximum” (whether or not that’s true) and will not produce more.
So, Biden is now flip-flopping, proving this trip is a total waste of time.
President Joe Biden on Thursday said that he will not request Saudi leaders to increase oil production during his trip to Saudi Arabia next month, stressing that is “not the purpose of the trip,” while blaming sky-high gas prices in the United States on “Russia, Russia, Russia.”

When pressed on whether he would ask for increased oil production from Saudi leaders, Biden said: “No.”

Does this president ever follow through with what he said he’ll do? Last month, the administration said Biden was going to Saudi Arabia for the express purpose of asking them to produce more oil. That was the only reason he was going there.
Remember, Biden hates the Saudis. He said he’d treat them like “pariahs,” getting the rest of the world to follow suit. If he’s not going there for oil, why go at all? To enjoy their great weather?
Biden is only doing this now, because of the news from Macron. His entire plan was undermined by that news. But, because he cares more about saving face than doing his job, he claims that was never the goal.
That is an outright lie and we all know it. Biden refuses to allow American oil companies to drill for oil, leading to this crisis. But he had no problem buying oil from Russia, the Arabs, and China. I guess the environment isn’t harmed when other countries drill?
Prices have continued to climb, thanks to war in Ukraine and dwindling supply. We don’t know if Saudi Arabia is really “at maximum.” But we do know they have no incentive to produce more oil to bail Biden out.
The only solution is for Biden to end the numerous policies he passed that have crippled American oil. But there is no way he is doing that. So, we will continue in this mess, until Congress does something.
