New Poll Shows What Americans Want, And It’s Not Liberalism!

Even though the majority of politicians, media, talking heads, and political experts are excited about the most recent poll results regarding anything or anyone, most surveys are only popularity contests that capture a moment in time. However, some surveys reveal long-standing patterns that can be either positive or negative, depending on one’s point of view.

According to the results of a new Gallup study, the second option is very clear.
After just over 32 months of Joe Biden’s presidency—which is arguably the worst presidency in at least modern history—most likely voters still don’t like Biden’s policies or the goals of a Democratic Party that doesn’t look much like moderate Democrats from the past.

Gallup reports that although most Americans equally hold similar distaste for both the Democratic and Republican parties, most people firmly feel that the Republican Party would be better able to protect the nation’s economic, and national security, and, more broadly, its “primary issue.”

Gallup said this about the question of which party is capable of handling the most important problem better:

“A new study shows that more Americans believe the Republican Party is better able to solve whatever problem they think is the most important for the country. This is in contrast to the Democrats. 44% of people say that the Republican Party is better, 36% claim the Democrat Party would be better, and the remainder say they don’t care which party wins. Now is the moment when Americans give the most general answers about what they think is the most significant issue facing the country: economic conditions, the government/poor leadership, and immigrants.”

“Historically Plenty of Leads for Republicans”

More than eight out of ten Americans disagree with the politically fractured Congress’s performance, which historically hasn’t exactly been “Breaking News.” However, nearly six out of ten Americans are unhappy with Biden’s job performance, and almost three-quarters of them are negative about the future of the Biden economy.

Besides that:

  • The Democratic Party is preferred by 39% of Americans, while 53% of Americans think the Republican Party will maintain the nation’s prosperity over the coming years.
  • 57% of people believe that the Republican Party will better protect the country from foreign terrorism and military risks, while 35% believe that the Democrats will do a better job.
  • 53% of people think the Republican Party will succeed in doing a better job of keeping our nation rich over the next few years, while 39% think the Democrat Party will.

Since 2002, the Republican Party has been ahead on this measure all but two times. However, the current advantage is one of the largest in that shorter period of time.

The Republicans now have a 14-point lead over Democrats when it comes to making sure the country stays wealthy. This is the largest lead seen since 1991 when it was only 10 points.
