President Donald Trump has always had a target on his back. From the moment he stepped into office, the media, the deep state, and radical left-wing activists have tried to not only tear him down verbally, but also physically. Now, a trusted watchdog group is raising the alarm about something even more serious—his personal safety.
Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, says he’s “really concerned” about the security protecting President Trump. And coming from him, that means something. This isn’t just political theater. This is a man who has spent years holding the government accountable, and he’s now saying that the Secret Service may have dropped the ball—more than once.
According to Fitton, there have been at least two serious threats to President Trump’s life that happened while he was supposed to be under full protection. One of the most shocking incidents happened in September, when Trump was having dinner at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab in Washington, D.C. What should have been a calm night out turned into a dangerous situation. Activists from the far-left group Code Pink managed to get close to the President, shouting and causing a scene. Where was the Secret Service?
Let me be clear: this is unacceptable. A former president and leading candidate should never be put in harm’s way like this. Our protectees, especially someone as high-profile as Trump, deserve the highest level of security. If agitators can get within a few feet of him with cameras, signs, and who knows what else, then something is seriously wrong.
Fitton described the incident as an “unbelievable security lapse.” And he’s not wrong. The fact that these activists were allowed to get that close means either someone wasn’t doing their job, or worse, someone let it happen on purpose. Either way, it’s dangerous.
We’ve seen what these radical groups are capable of. Code Pink may look like a bunch of loud, pink-shirted protesters, but don’t be fooled. They have a history of causing chaos, and when emotions run high, anything can happen. That’s why the people guarding the President need to be on high alert at all times.
Judicial Watch is demanding answers. They want to know how this happened, who was responsible, and what changes are being made to make sure it never happens again. And they’re right to ask. The American people deserve to know that their leaders are being protected, especially when we’ve seen how far some people will go to silence Trump.
As a veteran, I know what it means to protect something worth fighting for. You don’t cut corners. You don’t roll the dice. You prepare for the worst, even on a quiet night out. The Secret Service has a tough job, no doubt about it. But if they’re falling asleep at the wheel, someone needs to be held accountable.
Remember, this isn’t just about one dinner in D.C. This is part of a bigger problem. President Trump has faced threats from day one. He’s been spied on, investigated with fake evidence, and painted as a villain by every major media outlet. Now, it seems like his safety is being taken lightly. That’s not just a concern—it’s a crisis.
This is a call to action. The agencies tasked with keeping our leaders safe need to step up, not just for Trump, but for the country. We’re in a time where political violence is becoming more common, and we can’t afford to let our guard down.
President Trump has always stood up for the American people. It’s time the people charged with protecting him do the same. No more excuses. No more slip-ups. We need real answers and real accountability—right now.
