Gun License Holders “Accidently” Doxxed By Blue State Officials

The Second Amendment is needed now more than ever as gun control radicals unleash unprecedented attacks on law-abiding gun owners.

How convenient that one of the strictest gun control states just so happened to “accidentally” leak the private information of every concealed carry permit holder directly after the U.S. Supreme Court shot down unconstitutional gun laws.

On Monday, the names, addresses, ages, race, and other personal information of every concealed carry permit holder was leaked by the California Department of Justice.

The leak was reportedly tied to California DOJ Firearms Dashboard, a self-service portal where gun owners can apply for licenses.

The website is public, however, personal information of gun owners or concealed carry license holders should never be public, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The office of California Attorney General Rob Bonta said, “We are investigating an exposure of individuals’ personal information connected to the DOJ Firearms Dashboard. Any unauthorized release of personal information is unacceptable.”

Department of Justice officials reached out to permit holders informing them of the data leak.

Firearms reporting and analysis website The Reload examined the information leaked by California’s DOJ and reported to have “found 244 judge permits listed in the database.”

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time California has taken aim at lawful gun owners.

In October 2016, another “accidental” leak by the California DOJ exposed the private information of about 3,500 firearms instructors.

Fox News reported that the information on “3,424 firearms instructors” was inadvertently released in response to a Freedom of Information Act request. The information contained “dates of birth, driver’s license numbers and California identification numbers.”

DOJ officials sat on their hands for two months before responding to the leak, informing California gun instructors their personal information was now publicly available on the internet — the same approach to Monday’s “accidental” leak.

Far-Left governor of California Gavin Newsom hasn’t been quiet about his intentions to crack down on lawful gun owners, but his efforts were squashed this week when SCOTUS ruled that recent concealed carry requirements in New York were unconstitutional.

Democrats in California vowed to “push the envelope” anyway, advancing strict gun control legislation they claim doesn’t violate constitutional rights.

After multiple leaks of personal information and other blatant attacks on gun owners by tyrannical governments, it’s never been more necessary for Republicans to fight for Second Amendment rights.
