During a visit to a Philadelphia church, Vice President Kamala Harris addressed a predominantly Black congregation, urging them to participate in the upcoming election, which she framed as a pivotal decision for the nation’s future. She highlighted the democratic power of “we the people” and quoted the Book of Psalms, expressing faith in overcoming current challenges.
“…Right now each of us has an opportunity to make a difference. Because in this moment we do face a real question. What kind of country do we want to live in?” Harris said. “The great thing about living in a democracy is we the people have the choice to answer that question. So let us answer not just with our words, but with our works.”
She then quoted from Psalms in the bible, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the mornin’. The path may seem hard, the work may seem heavy, but joy cometh in the mornin’ and church morning is on its way.”
However, Harris faced an outpouring of criticism on social media for using a “new accent,” which some compared to a pastor’s tone, reminiscent of Martin Luther King Jr. And boy oh boy did the internet let her have it.

Harris has been accused of adjusting her speech style during other appearances, including when speaking to the Congressional Black Caucus and union members in Detroit.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy questioned the vice president’s shifting accents, with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissing it as irrelevant to Americans’ concerns, emphasizing the economy, healthcare, and democracy instead.
This is just another example of how Kamala is a phony and a fraud. Rather than trying to genuinely connect with her voter bases, she pulls out every dirty trick in the book to dupe people into voting for her.
Kamala’s campaign doesn’t seem to understand that clear, consistent messaging on critical issues like inflation, border security, and national stability is what resonates most with Americans. You know who does get that? Trump. So don’t forget to vote MAGA 2024!
