[WATCH] GOP Sen. Called ‘Transphobic’ During INSANE Abortion Hearing

People will oftentimes reveal exactly who they are when given a platform to do so. The very moment a leftist is given a microphone he/she/they will more often than not reveal the insidious nature of progressive liberalism.

As radical gender ideology sweeps the nation, most average Americans are left wondering where the left comes up with these wild ideas of men getting pregnant and so on. Well, on Tuesday, a university professor cleared all of that up during a tense Senate hearing about the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Khiara Bridges, a professor at the University of California Berkeley School of Law, got into a tense exchange with GOP Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri on Tuesday when she was to testify at the hearing.

The line of questioning began when GOP Sen. John Cornyn asked Bridges whether or not she believed an unborn child had ‘value,’ to which she replied: “I think that the person with capacity for pregnancy has value.”

You can see where this is going…

Hawley questioned Bridges on her use of the phrase “person with capacity for pregnancy.”

Bridges said that abortion is not a consideration only for women because transgender and nonbinary people can be pregnant.

When Hawley followed up by asking her what abortion rights were about, Bridges accused him of transphobia — and not only transphobia but “violence” against trans people.

Yes, you read that correctly…

Then, in an attempt at a ‘gotcha’ moment, Professor Bridges asked Sen. Hawley if men can get pregnant, to which the GOP Senator answered in a way only a sane person would.

“No, I don’t think men can get pregnant,” he responded.

“So you’re denying that trans people exist!” she said.

It’s really hard to believe we’ve arrived at such an insane point in history when seemingly nothing makes sense and people like Khiara Bridges are the nation’s moral compass.

Senate Democrats invited Bridges to testify on behalf of potential legislation codifying abortion rights into federal law.

Legislation has yet to pass in the Senate since the SCOTUS Roe v. Wade decision after it failed to clear the filibuster threshold or even a majority. Both Sens. Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema have reiterated their support for the filibuster, essentially crushing their party’s hopes of federalizing abortion.
