The event was set to feature Christian author Dr. Frank Turek and actor Rob Schneider. It was the final stop of the tour, and the memory of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk—who was assassinated just two months ago at a similar event in Utah—loomed large over the gathering. Instead of honoring that legacy with reasoned debate and civil discourse, radical leftists descended on the scene with hate and fists.

One Trump supporter was left with blood pouring from his face after a physical altercation broke out. According to witnesses, the Antifa member attempted to rob the man before the fight began. Both individuals were arrested, but let’s be clear—this wasn’t some mutual scuffle. This was a targeted act of aggression by radical leftists trying to disrupt a peaceful event.
Videos from the scene show masked individuals chanting profanities and mocking the memory of Charlie Kirk with vile slogans like “f*** your dead homie.” These people weren’t there to protest. They were there to destroy, to intimidate, and to send a message to anyone who dares to speak up for conservative values.
The group behind the violence is allegedly “By Any Means Necessary,” a far-left Antifa-aligned organization known for previous riots in Berkeley. Their name alone tells you everything you need to know—they will use force, intimidation, and chaos to shut down any opposition. That’s not protest. That’s domestic terrorism.
To make matters worse, a campus building had to be surrounded by police as the mob swarmed the area. Five individuals were arrested in connection with the violence, though that number probably doesn’t reflect the true scale of the threat. These agitators used mob tactics to try and break down barriers and silence speakers. They didn’t succeed, but they came dangerously close.
This kind of behavior is not just an attack on Turning Point USA—it’s an attack on the very heart of our Republic. Veterans like me didn’t serve this country so that masked punks could beat down fellow Americans for daring to wear a red hat or speak their mind. We fought for freedom—freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to disagree without being assaulted for it.
And while Antifa thugs run wild, where are the Democrats? Silent. Or worse, egging them on from behind closed doors. They claim to stand for peace and tolerance, yet they remain quiet while their ideological foot soldiers terrorize campuses and city streets. Don’t let them fool you. This is the real face of the radical left.
We need to call this behavior what it is—political violence. And we need to stop pretending it’s acceptable. If the roles were reversed and a conservative mob had attacked a leftist rally, the media would be screaming about “insurrection” and “threats to democracy.” But when conservatives get bloodied, it’s just another day on campus.
Let’s stop turning the other cheek. Let’s stand firm, speak up, and protect our freedoms. Because if we don’t, the next Charlie Kirk won’t just be remembered in chants of hate—he’ll be joined by more names on a growing list of martyrs who dared to speak the truth.
