This should never happen—not in the United States, not at the UN, and especially not to someone serving our country.
The official works for the Department of Health and Human Services. She was in New York helping Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his team during the UN event. According to reports, she was followed into a bathroom by a woman who started yelling at her, shining a bright light in her face, and recording her. Then things got physical. This wasn’t just someone being rude. This was a targeted, aggressive attack.
The attacker somehow got into one of the most secure locations in the world. The United Nations building is supposed to be protected by layers of security. So how did this radical protester slip through? That’s the question many of us are asking. The White House says the U.S. Secret Service is now looking into how this breach happened. And they should. Because if someone can walk past security and attack a U.S. official, what else could go wrong?
The attacker has been arrested. She faces several charges, including assault, aggravated harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon. But here’s what’s even more shocking—she was let out of police custody the next day. That’s the kind of soft-on-crime nonsense we’ve come to expect from places like New York City. No wonder criminals feel bold enough to attack government workers in broad daylight.
Let’s be clear: this wasn’t just an outburst from a random person. The official who was attacked said it felt very political. She said the attacker was trying to intimidate her and make a scene. It’s no secret that Secretary Kennedy and others in the Trump administration have faced constant threats and hate from the radical left. Now it’s spilling over into physical violence.
This is not just about one person being assaulted. This is about the bigger picture. If we let things like this slide, it sends a message that it’s okay to attack public servants if you don’t like their politics. That’s not how America works. That’s not freedom. That’s mob rule.
