President Donald Trump is once again doing what he does best—standing strong for law and order, and refusing to back down in the face of liberal nonsense. In a new interview with *60 Minutes*, Trump defended his administration’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, saying they haven’t gone far enough. And he’s right. We’ve spent too long watching our cities fall apart, with gangs, drug cartels, and illegal aliens running wild while liberal judges tie the hands of the men and women trying to protect us.
When CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell tried to paint ICE agents as villains for doing their job, Trump didn’t blink. She brought up videos of ICE arrests, tear gas in neighborhoods, and smashed car windows. Her tone dripped with the same kind of anti-police rhetoric we’ve come to expect from the mainstream media. But Trump made it clear: “Yeah, because you have to get the people out.” That’s leadership. That’s someone who understands that we are not safe when our borders are wide open and our immigration laws are ignored.
Let’s be honest. The raids are necessary. These aren’t peaceful tourists crossing the border. These are criminals, repeat offenders, gang members, and people who have no respect for our laws. ICE isn’t targeting families picking apples—they’re going after people who have already broken the law by being here illegally and often have additional criminal records. The liberal media won’t tell you that part because it doesn’t fit their open-borders agenda.
President Trump also pointed out exactly why ICE operations have been slowed down: liberal judges. The same Obama- and Biden-appointed judges who spent years blocking Trump’s border wall and undermining immigration enforcement are still doing damage. In one case, a judge in Illinois blocked Trump from using the National Guard to secure Chicago. That’s insane. Chicago has become a war zone under Democrat leadership, and when Trump tries to send help, the left says no. Why? Because they care more about illegal immigrants than they do about American citizens.
And speaking of Chicago and liberal disasters, Trump didn’t hold back when talking about New York City’s mayoral race either. When asked about Zohran Mamdani, the radical leftist running for mayor, Trump called him what he is: a communist. The media tried to compare Mamdani to Trump, calling him “charismatic” and “rule-breaking.” Trump laughed it off and said what we were all thinking: “I’m a much better-looking person than him, right?” Classic Trump, mixing humor with hard truth. There’s no comparison between a man who puts America first and a socialist who wants to tear it down.

This interview also marks a big moment for CBS. Just weeks ago, they brought in Bari Weiss as their new editor-in-chief. She left the far-left New York Times after calling them out for their bias, so maybe—just maybe—we’ll see some real journalism for a change. But let’s not forget CBS’s past. Trump had to sue their parent company, Paramount, over a 2024 segment that was clearly edited to help Kamala Harris. He won that fight too—$16 million later, CBS had to pay up.
Here’s the bottom line: Trump is doing what he promised. He’s putting America first, standing up to activist judges, and refusing to let the radical left control our streets. The raids aren’t going too far—they’re just starting to get the job done. And if we want to take back our country, we need more of that strength, not less. Liberals can whine all they want, but we know what real leadership looks like. And it’s back in the White House.
