The pro-life movement is stronger than ever under President Trump’s leadership, and the abortion lobby knows it. Earlier this month, dozens of national and state pro-life leaders gathered at Priests for Life headquarters in Florida for a three-day strategy session, mapping out the next phase of their fight to abolish abortion without exceptions.
One issue united them all: Planned Parenthood must be defunded immediately.
No More Blood Money for Abortion Profiteers
For decades, American taxpayers have been forced to bankroll Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, despite overwhelming opposition. Even though federal funds supposedly can’t be used for abortions, the nearly $700 million in taxpayer cash that Planned Parenthood raked in from 2022-2023 helped keep their killing mills running full speed.
Pro-life leaders at the meeting drafted a joint letter to Congress demanding an end to this corrupt funneling of tax dollars into the abortion industry. Bills to defund Planned Parenthood—S. 203 in the Senate (sponsored by Sen. Rand Paul) and H.R. 271 in the House (sponsored by Rep. Michelle Fischbach)—are already on the table.
With a pro-life majority in Congress and Trump ready to sign, there has never been a better time to pull the plug on abortion funding once and for all. The pro-life movement is ready to take action, launching visible, aggressive lobbying efforts to make sure Congress follows through.
Trump’s First Month: A Pro-Life Powerhouse
Pro-life leaders also took the time to thank President Trump and his administration for their historic first month in office. In just a few weeks, Trump has already reversed nearly every pro-abortion policy from the Biden administration. His pro-life victories so far include:
✅ Defunding international abortion providers by reinstating the Mexico City Policy
✅ Enforcing the Hyde Amendment to block federal abortion funding
✅ Pardoning 23 pro-life activists unjustly targeted for standing up for the unborn
✅ Ordering an end to military-funded abortion travel
✅ Declaring life begins at conception with executive orders
✅ Appointing RFK Jr. to investigate the deadly abortion pill
✅ Limiting enforcement of the FACE Act, which Biden weaponized against pro-lifers
✅ Rejoining the Geneva Consensus to oppose global abortion mandates
And that’s just the first month. Imagine what four more years will bring.
Trump’s Critics Are Eating Their Words
Even some of Trump’s past critics in the pro-life movement are now admitting they were wrong. While a handful of naysayers continue to nitpick, the vast majority of pro-life leaders recognize Trump as the most pro-life president in American history.
Their letter to Trump’s administration pledged full support for his fight to protect the unborn, closing with a bold statement:
“America will be great again to the extent that we protect our first and most basic right, the right to life.”
With Trump in the White House, a pro-life Congress, and an energized movement, Planned Parenthood’s days are numbered—and the abortion lobby knows it.
