DeSantis Says HAMAS Is Coming To America

In an interview with The Daily Wire this week, Republican presidential contender Ron DeSantis lambasted the Biden administration in reaction to Palestinian terror assaults against Israel, which have killed hundreds of Israelis and maimed thousands more.

Hamas operates as an Islamic terrorist organization that gets some of its money from Iran. The attacks started early in the morning, amid the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and also on Shabbat, which is a day of rest for many Jews in Israel.

During the attacks, pictures and videos shared on social media displayed hundreds of Islamic terrorists bursting into Israel. They did this by breaking or getting around parts of Israel’s border wall using the Palestinian Authority and then hunting down and killing innocent women and children.

When hundreds or even thousands of people stormed the border, it reminded me of the pictures that go viral every week of the thousands of illegal immigrants coming into the southern US because of President Biden’s policies to keep the borders open.

“Under Biden’s administration, we have seen over 7 million unauthorized immigrants enter the country; we have no idea who these individuals are, but we have known since the start of his administration that they are coming into our country from all over the globe,” DeSantis stated to The Daily Wire. “People from Russia, China, Iran, and other Middle Eastern countries are coming.”

The 45-year-old governor of Florida talked about the times he had been to the border between the United States and Mexico and seen people from every corner of the world coming into the U.S. illegally.

“The question is, are you telling me that people who want to hurt us, whether they are terrorist groups or nation states, won’t try to use that against us?” he asked. “I have stated in public prior to this situation happening, with the tragic events in Israel, that there’s going to be a terrorist attack in America at some point in the years to come that we are going to be able to link back to the unsecured southern border.”

DeSantis stated that it would be hard to wager against the likelihood of a significant terrorist attack occurring in the United States due to the open border and lax border enforcement from the Biden administration, given the sheer volume of undocumented immigrants entering the nation.

He ended by saying, “I don’t think we have any idea what the exact level of risk is because of Biden’s failures, but it’s clear that the open border has put the American people at great risk.”
