DeSantis Goes To War With Soros

In the Republican presidential primary debate this week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said that if he wins, he will use the U.S. Department of Justice to go after “all” woke DA’s who get money from George Soros, a major Democrat donor.

These comments were made by DeSantis at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. He has already fired two Soros-backed district attorneys in Florida!

“What do you think should be done about the underlying causes of crime, especially the fact that criminals keep getting out of jail and then coming back to commit more crimes?” asked co-moderator Dana Perino.

He replied, “Well, the crime in the major cities is one of the clearest signs that America is falling apart. We can not be a successful nation if people can’t even feel safe living in cities like LA and San Francisco. My wife and I have encountered three individuals who have been robbed on the street in Southern California in the past two days.” Ten or twenty years ago, that wouldn’t have happened.”

He added that his government supports law enforcement in the state. Because of this, crime in the state has reached its lowest level in 50 years.

He also said, “Yes, back when I had a couple of progressive prosecutors in Florida who did not comply with the law, I fired them, and the residents of Florida are safer because of it. As president, I intend to use the Department of Justice to bring civil rights lawsuits against every one of those left-wing judges that Soros funds. They will no longer get away with it. We want to stop this country from getting worse. We need to pick law and order over chaos and riots.”
