Democrats Now Want To Give Your Kids Drugs At School

The campaign to promote “gender-affirming care” is still going strong. And more parents than not are unaware of how deeply ingrained it is in the American public school system.

According to recent reports, Meany Middle School as well as Nova High School, two public schools in Seattle, Washington, provide pupils with this “care” freely and on campus.

The high school’s website states that “the Nova Wellness Center provides complimentary comprehensive, trauma-informed, gender-affirming care conveniently located at the campus.”

It adds, “Country Doctor Community Healthcare Centers (CDCHC), a neighborhood non-profit, operates the Nova Wellness Center in addition to two primary healthcare clinics: Carolyn Downs Family Medical Facility in the Central District as well as Country Doctor Community Clinic on Capitol Hill.”

The hormone estrogen, androgen blockers, along with testosterone are just a few of the medications provided to kids. Even recommendations for vaginoplasty as well as chest reconstruction may be made available to them. In addition, there are letters of support that can be used to promote medical interventions.

The policy manual for Seattle Public Schools, “Gender-Inclusive Educational Facilities: Transgender as well as Gender-Expansive pupil Rights and Supports,” states that district employees “must not provide a student’s transgender or gender X position to anyone else unless (1) required by law for them to do so or (2) the student has given permission for disclosure.”

If the student’s claimed gender identity at home is ambiguous, district workers are further urged to refrain from using gender pronouns while speaking with the parents or legal guardians of transgender students.

Uncertainty exists around the schools’ communication with parents on how their kids receive “gender-affirming care” provided in school-based clinics.

Seattle Public Schools sent the following comment to The Post Millennial: “Community healthcare organizations independently run School-Based Health Centers in locations supplied by Seattle Public Schools. The delivery of medical services in these medical facilities is not under the control of or supervised by Seattle Public Schools.”

Therefore, the left continues to “assure” the public that these types of behaviors are not taking place even when all of this is going on in American public schools. At the same time, efforts are being made to make schools more LGBTQ-friendly than ever.
