The big news coming out of this holiday season is Biden’s failed “Build Back Better” agenda. This bloated, toxic piece of spending legislation will not pass Senate, thanks to Joe Manchin’s flat out refusal to vote for it. Democrats have been reeling all weekend long and it looks like they are far from done complaining.
Manchin saved America from a disaster. A disaster worse than what we’ve already seen from Joe Biden. The man has violated his oath of office, failed to protect the country, and abused his executive authority again and again. Worse still, he’s ignored the Constitution to force vaccine mandates on over 100 million Americans.
Yet, one far-left Democrat thinks he should go even farther and abuse the executive branch to force his BBB agenda onto America.
On Monday, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), the Progressive Caucus Chair of the House of Representatives, discussed her reactions to Senator Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) decision not to back the Build Back Better Act, and what she thinks President Joe Biden should do now…
“[N]o one should think that we are going to be satisfied with an even smaller package that leaves people behind or refuses to tackle critical issues like climate change,” Jayapal said during her conference call with the press, The Hill reported.
“That’s why it is now incumbent on President Biden to keep his promise to us and to the American people by using the ultimate tool in his toolbox of executive action in every arena immediately,” she added. [Source: Daily Wire]
This progressive socialist is blatantly calling on Joe Biden to once again abuse the executive branch to force his socialist agenda onto the United States. Jayapal said she would not except a “smaller package” than the one Biden failed to pass. A smaller bill could actually win over Manchin, giving Democrats a legislative win.
But instead of that compromise (a concept on which our government is founded) this socialist is demanding Biden just make the radical changes in the bill a reality through executive orders. She thinks Biden should force policies like the destruction of fossil fuels, the canceling of student loan, and “protecting the climate” through federal agencies and other measures outside of Congress.
If this doesn’t worry you, you need to walk up. This congress woman is telling Biden to circumvent Congress to push his agenda through like a dictator. She is so out of sync with our Constitution, it’s shocking. Our government is made of up three branches so that Biden can’t do the very thing she is demanding.
But, like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and the “squad,” this socialist has little respect for our laws, government, and balance of powers. She wants her agenda pushed through, regards of what damage it does to our country.
How is a woman like this even in Congress? Did she ever bother to read the Constitution? Does she even know how our government works? Clearly, she doesn’t. That’s good enough reason to vote her out ASAP.
