A 31-year-old man named Cole Tomas Allen charged through a metal detector and shot a Secret Service agent in the chest at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night. This was the third assassination attempt against President Trump. The agent is expected to survive, thank God.
So naturally, Hollywood actress Mia Farrow hopped on Bluesky to suggest that Trump staged the whole thing himself. You know, to boost his approval ratings. Because that’s a normal thing a normal person thinks.
We need to pause here and appreciate the sheer audacity of this woman. A Secret Service agent is lying in a hospital bed with a bullet wound to the chest, and Mia Farrow — whose personal life makes a daytime soap opera look like a nature documentary — is playing detective from her living room couch.
“He is forcing us to wonder,” Farrow wrote, suggesting Trump orchestrated an assassination attempt against himself because his poll numbers needed a bump. She literally floated the idea that the President of the United States hired someone to shoot at him. At a dinner. Surrounded by journalists.
And her followers ate it up! Comments like “I call bullshit” and “I think it was a false flag” poured in underneath her post. These are real people who vote, by the way. Sleep tight.
Here’s what Mia Farrow didn’t mention while she was cracking the case wide open: Cole Tomas Allen was a donor to ActBlue — the Democrat fundraising platform. His own relative called police before the attack to warn them something was wrong. So the shooter was a leftist whose family tried to stop him, and Farrow’s hot take is that Trump planned the whole thing?
This is the same woman who previously suggested that Trump either killed Ghislaine Maxwell or replaced her with a body double. We’re not dealing with a serious person here. We’re dealing with someone whose Trump Derangement Syndrome has metastasized into full-blown psychosis.
(At what point do we start checking on these people? Asking for a concerned nation.)
Think about what the Left has become. Three assassination attempts against a sitting president — three! — and a significant chunk of their base genuinely believes he’s doing it to himself. That’s not political opposition. That’s a psychiatric condition.
President Trump called Allen “a sick guy” during a Fox News interview Sunday morning. Understatement of the century. But we’d argue there’s a whole roster of sick people here, and some of them have blue checkmarks and millions of followers.
The Secret Service agent who took a bullet to protect the President and every journalist in that room is recovering in a hospital. Cole Tomas Allen is heading to federal court on Monday. And Mia Farrow is still on Bluesky, presumably working on her theory that Trump also faked the moon landing.
Maybe stick to making movies, Mia. Oh wait — you haven’t done that in a while either.
