Bible Boom Explodes Across America as Trump Takes Throne

Bible sales are skyrocketing, with a 22 percent jump in 2024 as Americans and people around the world face what feels like never-ending chaos. Between wars, artificial intelligence fears, political madness, and the general sense that society is teetering on the edge, it’s no wonder folks are turning to the Good Book.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Circana BookScan data shows Bible sales rising sharply compared to previous years. While sales were barely up by 1 percent in 2022, by the end of October this year, the numbers had soared. Jeff Crosby, president of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, nailed the reason behind the surge: “People are experiencing anxiety themselves, or they’re worried for their children and grandchildren.”

Anxiety about AI taking over, election chaos, and the general unraveling of everything decent is driving people to seek answers and comfort. And who can blame them? You won’t find solace in the ramblings of climate activists or TikTok influencers. But the Word of God? That’s eternal.

Even first-time buyers are grabbing Bibles off the shelves, with a boost from President-elect Donald Trump’s own endorsement earlier this year. Teaming up with country music legend Lee Greenwood, Trump introduced the “God Bless the U.S.A.” Bible, which features patriotic additions like the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. It’s a Bible and a civics lesson rolled into one—something the left would rather you didn’t have. Trump, always ready to defend Christian values, promoted the edition in a Truth Social video, reminding Americans of their Judeo-Christian heritage and the need to protect it against the constant attacks from the left.

Bible sales have surged from 9.7 million copies in 2019 to over 13.7 million in the first ten months of 2024—a staggering 41 percent increase. And this is happening despite leftists working overtime to undermine faith and morality. Just look at Hollywood actor Brian Cox, who trashed the Bible as “mythology” and a “patriarchal control issue.” Or the Utah school district that briefly banned the King James Bible, claiming it contained “vulgarity and violence.” Thankfully, that nonsense was overturned after public outrage.

The surge in Bible sales proves that when times get tough, people turn to what works: timeless truth, moral clarity, and faith in something greater than themselves. Contrast that with the left’s chaos, cancel culture, and attacks on faith, and it’s no surprise Americans are rejecting secular despair in favor of hope and resilience.
