Kamala Campaign Now Dissolving Into A Total Mess

The Pennsylvania campaign for Kamala Harris is a mess, and Democratic leaders are blaming each other, according to a report released this week by 29 Democrats who were leaked to Politico.

The Keystone State will likely decide who wins the President in 2024. It will be a key battleground. Pennsylvania has 19 votes in the election.

To stop Democrats from winning the state again, Republicans launched a large mail-in ballot program and worked hard to register voters in some areas. There are signs that the work of Republicans has paid off. According to political expert Seth Keshel, five Democratic towns in Pennsylvania have become mostly Republican since 2020. Voter registration information was made public on October 3.

For Harris’s campaign to win, a lot of people need to vote in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, which are strong Democratic cities. Politico said of the chaos, “If the campaign can’t get them to the polls, everything could be lost.”

They say that some of Harris’s staff don’t have any connections with important party players, especially in Philadelphia and its suburbs. They say that they have been ignored and that surrogates have not been used properly. In private meetings, they’ve told Harris’s team to do more to get people of color to the polls.

“Some are even pointing at Harris’ Pennsylvania campaign manager, Nikki Lu, who they say does not have knowledge of Philadelphia, where Harris must drive up turnout in order to win.”

“Some of the Democrats’ anger might be made worse by Pennsylvania’s size and long-standing differences between regions: Pittsburgh is on the other side of Pennsylvania from Philadelphia and the main Black and Latino neighborhoods in southeast Pennsylvania. This is where Lu is from. A second Democrat in the state’s government said Lu was “AWOL.” Someone working for the Democrats in Pennsylvania said that Lu “creates a culture” in the campaign that makes elected officials feel ignored and disrespected.”
