You Won’t Believe Why Nancy Pelosi Paid For An Exorcist

According to TMZ on Sunday, Nancy Pelosi sent in Catholic priests to perform an exorcism on her San Francisco townhouse to drive out bad spirits.

The announcement was made by the former House Speaker and her daughter, Alexandra, in an interview with Maureen Dowd for the New York Times that was published on Saturday.

Nancy reportedly turned to priests for assistance after her husband Paul was allegedly attacked by a man brandishing a hammer in October, according to Alexandra.

“I believe that was quite burdensome for her. She probably felt awful,” Alexandra remarked.

She said, “I believe it really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she invited priests to the house in an attempt to exorcise it while holding prayer services.”

For her part, Pelosi stated that she anticipates Paul won’t be “truly back to normal” for three to four months.

Fr. Arturo Albano, the parish priest of Pelosi’s St. Vincent de Paul Church, has affirmed that none of his staff members participated in such a rite.

“As far as I’m aware, neither a priest service nor an exorcism took place at her house,” according to Albano.

Due to her increasingly “extreme” pro-abortion beliefs, Pelosi was denied Holy Communion by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone in May.

To assist Pelosi see “the tremendous evil she is doing, the controversy she is making, and the peril to her own soul she is facing,” Cordileone claimed he has contacted her “many” times.

The archbishop claimed that after these efforts failed, he came to the conclusion that the time had come to publicly declare “that she is not to be accepted to Holy Communion unless and only if she publicly repudiates her approval for abortion ‘rights’ and confesses and receives absolution for her participation in this evil in the sacrament of Penance.”

Despite her ardent support of abortion in blatant defiance of Church doctrine, Pelosi has made it a point of calling herself a “devout” Catholic.

The head of the Catholic League, Bill Donohue, described Pelosi as “positively conflicted.”

He remarked, “She effectively sticks her middle finger at the Catholic Church every chance she has while wearing her Catholicism on her sleeve.”

The Catholic Church holds that abortion is a serious moral sin, and it imposes the harshest punishment possible—automatic ex-communication—on those who engage in it.

According to the Catholic Church’s Catechism, “Since the first century, the Church has affirmed the moral sin of each and every induced abortion. This doctrine hasn’t changed and won’t change.”

The document continues, “Direct abortion, that is, abortion willed either as a means or as a purpose, is severely antithetical to the moral law.”
