Jan. 6 Witch Hunt Committee Chooses Its Next Target

Jan. 6 Witch Hunt Committee Chooses Its Next Target

Things only seem to be heating up for the House Select Committee charged with investigating the events leading up to the Jan. 6 Captiol protest.

…at least that’s the façade Nancy Pelosi hopes the American people will believe.

The committee, comprised of radical Democrats and two anti-Trump whack job RINOs, has been formed solely for the purpose of bringing criminal charges against Former President Donald Trump by illegally targeting former members of his administration.

What transpired on Jan. 6 could by no means be a result of one man’s call to action — even if he is the President of the United States — and the committee undoubtedly knows that.

However, try as they might, Liz Cheney and the rest of the lunatics have illegally targeted Trump’s former associates by spying on their private phone records, abusing the subpoena system, and essentially taking the entire legal process for granted.

For risk of facing criminal charges and in some instances for pure lack of loyalty, some former members of Trump’s administration have acquiesced to the committee’s demands despite executive privilege which the Former President should be shielded under.

Now the committee has found their next target — and this one’s a doozy.

Rudy Giuliani is in active talks to testify before the House Jan. 6 committee, according to a New York Times report.

But the extent of his cooperation is not clear. Giuliani last month was subpoenaed to appear for an interview before the committee last week.

But “Mr. Giuliani’s appearance was rescheduled at his request,” a committee aide informed ABC News. “He remains under subpoena and the select committee expects him to cooperate fully.”

Committee investigators and Giuliani’s representation are expected to convene in the coming days to clarify his cooperation regarding either an informal interview or a formal deposition. However, it is unclear if Giuliani, who acted as former President Donald Trump’s lawyer, would dispel client-attorney confidentiality for the committee or invoke executive privilege.

Giuliani is still very close to Trump, and there have been reports that the two plan to spend Super Bowl Sunday together.

If Giuliani fails to cooperate, he may face the same fate as Steve Bannon and Mark Meadows.
