The Jan. 6 House Select Committee lost whatever credibility they had on Tuesday. POOF, it’s gone, never to return as the American public rolls its eyes at the theatrical performance put on by a group of disgruntled anti-Trump losers.
The committee made a giant mistake by inviting Cassidy Hutchinson to testify in a last-minute show trial meant to blow the case wide open.
Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified on Tuesday that President Donald Trump abused Secret Service agents on Jan. 6 after they refused to take him back to the U.S. Capitol Building.
According to Hutchinson’s testimony, Trump became enraged with Secret Service agents when they refused to take him to the Capitol Building during the massive protest on Jan. 6. The area was deemed not secure for the President and Agents demanded that Trump be taken to a safe location.
Hutchinson claimed that Trump lunged at the steering wheel after Bobby Engel, his lead security detail, refused to drive him back to the Capitol.
“I am the effing president, take me up to the Capitol now.”

Trump responded to Hutchinson’s testimony on his Truth Social account, calling the former White House employee “bad news.”

Meanwhile, the Secret Service agents in question have reportedly agreed to tell their stories publicly and will testify that Trump in fact did not assault them or lunge after the steering wheel of his presidential limousine.
🚨 A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.

Key Jan. 6 Witch Hunter and leading impeachment Democrat, Rep. Jamie Raskin, appeared shaky and unsure if Hutchinson was telling the truth during an appearance on CNN.
While sticking to Hutchinson’s story, Raskin attempted simultaneously distance himself, using the “this is what we know” defense.

All in all, the Jan. 6 committee has lost the attention of the American public and the initial rush of excitement has long been depleted.
Turns out, no one cares (or believes) that Trump was somehow orchestrating a coup against the government after Democrats rigged the 2020 presidential election in Biden’s favor.
In fact, many Trump supporters expressed enthusiasm after Hutchinson delivered her testimony as it proved that Donald Trump is a real patriot willing to enter a dangerous situation to stand by the side of his supporters in defense of America.
The committee is supposedly pausing all show trials until after the summer recess and will resume the madness sometime in July.
