Let’s be very honest: Joe Biden is unlikely to run for re-election. Oh sure, he talks big now. But the man can’t even ride a bicycle. He is running on steam already, on the verge of ending up in a lame-duck presidency before the end of his second year.
That leaves the Democratic Party in a tough spot. Often, a vice president will take up the mantle after a sitting president is done. But following Joe Biden is Kamala Harris, a woman who failed to do anything of note in this year and a half. In fact, she was worse approval numbers than Joe.
And now, voters are letting her know what she can do in 2024.
Virginia voters told Fox News that Vice President Kamala Harris is not a shoo-in to replace President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket If he does not seek re-election in 2024…
“No, I wouldn’t support any Democrat,” said Lisa from Ashburn, Virginia.
“I don’t think she deserves the position she is in now,” said a man named Daniel. “I think she’s a joke, to be honest.” […]
“I would not support a Democratic ticket or her,” said Kristine, a Virginia mother. “She’s not the greatest representative that this country can ask for.”
“Look at her record,” Kristine continued. [Source: Fox News]
Keep in mind, that Virginia has been a reliably blue state going into presidential elections. But it appears voters from this state are not at all impressed with Kamala Harris. Not because they are “racist” or “sexist,” mind you, but because she has a horrible record.
Many pointed to the fact that she failed to get the border under control. Last year, Biden tapped her to deal with the exploding border crisis (that he created). Instead of viewing the border and supporting new measures to secure it, Harris threw millions of tax dollars at foreign counties.
Did that do anything to fix the problem? Of course, not.
That’s only the tip of the iceberg of this Democrat’s failures. She has consistently made herself out to sound like an idiot. She gets as many facts wrong as Biden, a man suffering from some kind of mental decline.
She is unimpressive behind the microphone. And she has no ideas for helping the country in the midst of a recession.
You don’t have to look too far to see she is not vice president material, let alone president material.
That leaves the question, what the heck are Democrats going to do? There is nobody else in the party that has what it takes to take on Republicans in two years.
Even if Trump doesn’t run, you better believe Americans will be good and tired of Democrats by then. Anyone the GOP puts forward will have a strong competitive edge.
And the left just does have anyone ready.
