Tulsi Gabbard Launches Blistering Insults At Kamala

With every passing day, my admiration for Tulsi Gabbard grows. Though I have never always agreed with anyone on policy—sometimes not even myself—I may not always agree with her. However, I enjoy Tulsi Gabbard. She is confident and full of conviction, and, to be honest, I like her tenacity. She has never held back while expressing her opinions.

On Thursday, during her appearance on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom,” she confronted Kamala Harris, providing the most recent instance of this, and she did not hold back. Tulsi stated:

“I believe she revealed in that debate the same issue that her campaign managers are currently grappling with… It’s a deceptive campaign, Kamala Harris. The most frustrating part is that they are trying to reinvent Kamala Harris to sound like the pollsters they are paying her to be, so she can say anything to win people over. They believe that because we are so naive, we will forget the real Kamala Harris. To put it plainly, I questioned her in 2019 about her hypocrisy, pointing out that her actions contradicted her statements, and she was unable to provide an explanation. She could not explain herself. She made no attempt to take responsibility for or defend her behavior. As we approach this election, voters will need to remember that Kamala Harris will say anything she feels is necessary. We must watch what she does because, as I noted in 2019, she will exhibit the same type of dishonesty on every significant subject, saying one thing while her past betrays a totally different picture.”

We all remember that moment from the Democratic presidential primary debate in 2019 with fondness: Tulsi Gabbard shredded Kamala Harris, leaving her in a bloodied, figurative heap on the ground. Harris twitched reflexively, abandoning her with little to no capacity to formulate a cogent response.

Perhaps this is the reason Tulsi found herself on a TSA watch list without warning.

Gabbard’s dissection of Harris is incredibly entertaining, in part because of her skill and partly because of what appears to be a personal grudge; the two obviously know one another to some extent, and it’s obvious that they are not in love.

However, Tulsi fails to address in this interview the very real threat that the Harris/Walz administration poses. Although Harris describes herself as “progressive,” we may interpret that phrase as implying an “advance on the route to socialism,” since that is the direction a Harris government would follow. Harris is not in the traditional liberal sense. She is a socialist who has never encountered a tax hike or government spending program that she didn’t like. She also supports government-controlled health care (ask anybody in Canada, Britain, or the former Soviet Union how well that works). Regarding the national debt, we know that Kamala Harris, if elected president, would take out the checkbook, look at her predecessors, and say, “Hold my drink.” The previous administrations have a significant deal of responsibility for their spending and borrowing, which has put our country in debt.

It would be disastrous to have Kamala Harris as president, or, if you prefer, Kalamity. Although Tulsi is correct that she is an empty suit, that doesn’t mean she isn’t dangerous.
