President Donald Trump has once again shown the world that America does not take kindly to foreign interference or dishonesty—especially when it threatens our economy or national security. This time, the target of his wrath is Canada. More specifically, the government of Ontario and its Prime Minister, Mark Carney.
What started as a $75 million ad campaign by the Ontario government has now turned into a full-blown political firestorm. The ad featured a doctored version of a Ronald Reagan radio address, making it sound like the former U.S. president was speaking out against tariffs. The ad was clearly designed to influence the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court case about Trump’s tariffs—a blatant attempt by a foreign government to meddle in our legal process.
President Trump didn’t waste time. He called out the ad as fake and pointed out that the Ronald Reagan Foundation itself confirmed the audio was taken out of context. They also made it clear that Ontario never asked for permission to use Reagan’s voice and message in the first place. The Foundation is even considering legal action against Ontario for misusing Reagan’s words.
Trump responded the way any strong leader should. He immediately ended all trade negotiations with Canada. No warnings, no second chances. As he posted on Truth Social, “TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A.” He added, “Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED.”
This isn’t just about trade. It’s about respect. It’s about defending the integrity of our institutions and protecting American workers. Canada thought they could play games with our economy. They were dead wrong.
Now, Prime Minister Carney is scrambling. He was caught completely off guard by Trump’s move. The video below shows him looking panicked, trying to explain to reporters how he plans to replace trade with the United States by reaching out to Asian markets. Good luck with that.
BREAKING: Canadian PM Carney looks PANICKED after Trump ENDED all trade negotiations last night after the Reagan Foundation announcement.
He is DESPERATELY trying to find another country in Asia that will replace what America has been for Canada.

Here’s the hard truth: Canada relies on the United States far more than we rely on them. They send us nearly 75% of their exports. Cutting them off is like taking away a lifeline. Their economy is going to feel the pain—and fast. Meanwhile, American producers and workers are already pivoting to new opportunities elsewhere, including more domestic manufacturing and stronger trade with allies who respect us.
This whole mess could have been avoided if Canada had just kept to honest dealings. But instead, they tried to manipulate American opinion using the legacy of one of our greatest presidents. That was a tactical blunder of the highest order.
As a veteran, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when you let your guard down and let others play you. President Trump isn’t about to let that happen on his watch. He understands that economic strength is tied to national strength. If we allow foreign governments to undermine our policies at home, we lose more than trade—we lose control.
There’s a reason why Americans elected Trump again. He doesn’t bend to pressure. He doesn’t play by the globalist playbook. He fights for this country—every single time.
And if Canada—or any other nation—thinks they can pull a fast one on us, they’d better think again.
God bless America, and God bless President Trump for standing tall when it matters most.
