The genius of Donald Trump lies solely on his ability to consistently and accurately diagnose the ills of society, and communicate that diagnosis using common language that everyone can understand. There are no word salads with Mr. Trump. His invectives, directed toward the Radical Democrats, Fake News Media, RINOs, etc, are always spot-on — and entertaining to boot!
The Team USA women’s national soccer team drew the ire of the Former President recently after they lead a movement to publicly bash and protest the country they represent at the Tokyo Olympics.
Trump’s statement echoed the sentiments of most Americans, as many of us have simply had enough with the constant ‘woke’ dribble coming from all aspects of society.
On Thursday, Trump released a statement, ripping the U.S. Women’s national soccer team after they won the bronze medal, saying they could’ve won gold if the team ”wasn’t woke.”
After the team failed to secure a gold medal, Trump lashed out, making a broader statement about anti-American protests swarming the Tokyo Olympics:
”If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze.”

He honed in on the most vocal America hater of the team, Megan Rapinoe, the captain and one of the highest-ranked female soccer players in the world. The two have never had the best relationship, with Megan routinely bashing the Former President and advocating for radical social justice movements.
”The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!” Trump said.
The U.S. Women’s national soccer team previously declined to make the traditional visit to the White House after winning the 2019 Women’s World Cup. Rapinoe told a reporter that year: ”We’re everything Trump loves — except that we’re powerful women.”
She added about the decision not to visit the White House: ”Considering how much time and effort and pride we take in the platform we have, using it for good and leaving the game in a better place and hopefully the world in a better place, I don’t think I would want to go.”
This just goes to show the utter pervasiveness of ‘woke’ rhetoric and the politics that accompany it. Trump — along with a plurality of Americans — have grown weary of the obvious, cynical progressive maneuvering for power by pushing and pandering “feel good” initiatives, oftentimes having no real effect on the community it claims to champion.
As long as America remains woke, our standing on the world stage will continue to diminish until the United States no longer becomes a dominant force, in sports and otherwise, any longer.
