Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) just got humiliated on social media, and the White House wasted no time calling him out.
Murphy, in a spectacular blunder, fell for a parody account pretending to be Lara Trump—then went on a profanity-laced tirade against the Trump administration over a fake tweet.
“You are a moron, Chris,” the White House fired back on X. “It is obvious this page is not affiliated with President Trump, his family, or the administration. We do, however, support your right to make such a statement, no matter how imbecilic it makes you look.”

Murphy’s Total Meltdown Over a Fake Tweet
Murphy saw a post from a parody fan account that jokingly suggested Border Czar Tom Homan should arrest AOC for helping illegal immigrants avoid deportation.
Instead of checking his sources, Murphy took the bait and exploded on X, ranting:
“It takes some f—ng gall to have [JD] Vance lecturing Europe on ‘free speech’ when at the exact same time the Trump regime is threatening Democrats back home with arrest if they even explain people’s rights to them.”
The problem? Lara Trump never tweeted that.
The tweet came from a fan-made parody account—something Murphy could have figured out in two seconds. Instead, he embarrassed himself in front of the entire internet.
White House Hits Back—Murphy Gets Community Noted
Murphy’s rage-fueled meltdown was so disastrously inaccurate that X hit him with a community note correcting his mistake.
“This is a screenshot of a parody account of Lara Trump. Her real account is below, and no such post exists,” the note stated.
Then, the White House went nuclear, launching Rapid Response 47, a new account dedicated to calling out fake news and leftist lies.
With Murphy’s credibility in shambles, his office has yet to comment on his embarrassing blunder.
Meanwhile, AOC Might Actually Be in Legal Trouble
While Murphy was busy making a fool of himself, Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that the Trump administration is seriously investigating whether AOC’s “Know Your Rights” webinar crossed legal lines.
Homan told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that he asked the Justice Department to review whether AOC’s guide for illegal immigrants obstructed federal law enforcement.
“Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts?” Homan asked. “If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? So maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now.”
Final Thoughts: Murphy Embarrasses Himself, AOC Under the Microscope
Murphy’s epic fail shows exactly why Democrats are losing the information war—they believe their own nonsense without checking the facts.
Meanwhile, AOC might be in actual legal trouble for helping illegal immigrants evade deportation.
One thing is clear: The left is completely unraveling under Trump’s second term.
