This Biden Comment About Kids Will Shock And Horrify You

President Joe Biden declared it “almost sinful” for governments to deny kids access to “gender-affirming treatment,” thereby standing between children and trans-activist medical experts.

On Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, Biden sat down with guest host Kal Penn to do an interview. The topic of transgender youth came up, as did Republican efforts in states like Florida to stop youngsters from making permanent decisions about their bodies before they are old enough to vote.

When it came to “gender-affirming treatment,” Biden admitted that it was more challenging when children were involved, but he believed that legislation should prohibit states from interfering.

“Transgender kids are a far more difficult thing,” he told Penn in footage leaked before Monday’s show. “What’s happening in Florida is immoral, as my mother would say.”

“It’s terrible how they’re conducting themselves. It’s not like a child wakes up one day and declares, You know, I think I want to become a guy,” or “I would like to be a woman,” or “I would like to change.” Biden went on. “What are they thinking? These are individuals. They love. They have emotions. They have those tendencies. … It just seems, I don’t know, harsh to me.”

The president went on to recommend legislation as a tool to restrict states from acting on the matter, claiming that the federal government should “make sure we enact legislation as we accomplished with same-sex marriage. If you tamper with that, you’re in violation of the law and will be held accountable.”

About “what’s going on in Florida,” or the measures Biden was criticizing, state medical boards decided last November to prohibit children from receiving transgender operations, puberty blockers, or cross-sex hormones. Furthermore, the Florida Senate introduced legislation in February that would hold businesses liable for the costs of detransitioning if they had initially funded the medical expenditures associated with the transition.
