Thanksgiving Is a No-Go This Year Thanks To Biden

If matters weren’t already bad enough, the American people will be saddled with another inconvenient truth this year as holidays approach.

Last year, mainstream media outlets published horrific articles leading up the holidays claiming anyone who dare celebrate with family are akin to murderers.

Dr. Fauci and other “public health” officials suggested everyone sacrifice time with family for the greater good. As a result, a majority of the population was left isolated and alone on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What good did that do? We’re still apparently in a pandemic and liberal media outlets are still hysterically reporting on the constant death caused by selfish members of society who dare sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family.

Truly evil.

Now Biden’s economy riddled with inflation is making it to where Americans have to think twice before making a hearty feast for the families as consumer prices have skyrocketed in the past months.

Inflation under the Biden administration is crippling the American consumer, and the Farm Bureau’s 36th annual survey is proving just that.

The Bureau’s financial analysis revealed the average cost of this year’s Thanksgiving dinner will cost a whopping 14% more than last year.

The average cost of this year’s classic Thanksgiving feast for 10 is $53.31 or less than $6.00 per person. This is a $6.41 or 14% increase from last year’s average of $46.90. The centerpiece on most Thanksgiving tables – the turkey – costs more than last year, at $23.99 for a 16-pound bird. That’s roughly $1.50 per pound, up 24% from last year.

Several factors contribute to the staggering rise in food costs.

The China Virus surely had an effect on the supply chain and has contributed to the shipping bottlenecks we see today. That fact cannot obviously be the fault of Biden’s administration alone.

However, that isn’t the entire story.

Because of the regulatory red tape pushed by Biden and the Democrats, the cost to ship goods has skyrocketed. American consumers are the direct beneficiary of these price increases. The last 20 months of constant inflation surely doesn’t help either.

On Tuesday, the United States Census Bureau announced that American retail and food services sales rose by 1.7% between September and October. Between August and September, sales rose by 15.4% from the same period in 2020.

When you destroy America’s ability to produce its own energy, when you kneecap farm owners and small business with ‘woke’ regulations, and when you raise taxes on – not just small businesses – but the American middle class, what does this administration expect?

Or is this all by design with the purpose of keeping us reliant upon federal government handouts?
