Republicans Now Being Targeted With Shocking Levels Of Violence

This week in Baltimore, Maryland, two pro-life activists were assaulted outside of a Planned Parenthood, according to police.

According to authorities, “the assault took place at the clinic on North Howard Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. The two injured are both males, ages 73 and 80.”

The event was initially covered by LifeSiteNews. Dick Schafer and Mark Crosby are the guys who were reportedly assaulted and gravely hurt, local pro-lifer John Roswell informed the publication through email.

The pro-life publication was able to collect images of what seem to be face injuries. According to Roswell, Crosby was transferred to a neighboring hospital for treatment while Schafer is “recovering at home.”

“Detailing the severity of the wounds, Roswell noted that Crosby’s ‘plate bone on his right upper jaw has been completely fractured,’ the eye orbital bone is entirely shattered and needs to be replaced using metal, and he is experiencing bleeding from an unspecified spot behind his eye,” according to the report.

The head of Baltimore County Right to Life, Dr. Jay Walton, created a GoFundMe to pay for Crosby’s medical costs. “When Crosby was praying outside of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Baltimore City, Walton stated that he had been brutally beaten.”

The GoFundMe campaign has garnered over $13,000 in contributions, exceeding its $10,000 target, according to Walton. “Mark has been praying in the front of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Baltimore City for years in order to let those frightened, young women considering abortion understand that they’re loved, and their baby is loved,” Walton said.

In the email, Roswell claimed that the attacker requested a nearby Planned Parenthood escort to hold onto his drink so he could attack Schafer.

“Mark, who was on the street, attempted to help Dick but was struck in the face, bringing him to the ground. The guy then allegedly kicked Mark in the head.”

“The customer from the neighboring pro-life pregnancy clinic Options @328 Baltimore ‘screamed,’ according to Roswell, which prompted a nurse from that facility to assist the guys.

According to Baltimore City Police, detectives have video of the event. The suspect seemed to be a Caucasian male with brown hair and a big beard. He was also sporting brown shoes, a gray T-shirt, and blue pants.”

According to police, the suspect appears to have passed the males before turning back and interacting with them, CBS News said.

Before becoming violent, the suspect is said to have been spotted “having a clearly aggressive discussion” in front of one of the pro-lifers.

Police said that “as the culprit was preparing to flee, he suddenly charged at Crosby and tackled him over a huge flowerpot instead.”

According to local press sources, Schafer attempted to assist Crosby but was pushed to the ground and sliced his hand.

“Officers say the man kept punching and kicking Crosby after that,” according to KATV.

According to the article, police are still looking for the perpetrator.
