Putin Describes Tucker Carlson With ONE Word

Vladimir Putin and Tucker Carlson had a two-hour interview. RedState claimed that Carlson faced backlash from the mainstream media, lawmakers such as Adam Schiff, and Democratic-run social media accounts for having the audacity to speak with Putin, as other journalists have done before.

Putin described Carlson as a “dangerous individual” to the Russian News Agency TASS. According to Putin, Tucker did not pose the questions that the Russian President had anticipated he would.

The interview is accessible on X and Carlson’s websites for anyone who hasn’t watched it yet.

Putin was able to respond to questions and give a history lesson on Russia and Europe for nearly an hour since Carlson did not frequently interrupt him.

More than 200 million people have viewed the interview on X, and more than a million people have liked the post. This is just one more instance of how X is emerging as the new medium.

As previously mentioned, Putin referred to Carlson as a “dangerous guy” after the interview.

“I believe that your Carlson—I refer to him as a member of the journalistic shop when I say “your”—is a dangerous individual.”

The Russian President went on, stating that he expected Tucker to pose direct questions.

“He [Carlson] would behave aggressively and ask so-called pointed questions,” according to Putin’s expectations.

“Not only was I ready for it, but I actively desired it, as it would afford me a chance to reply just as fiercely, which would, in my opinion, give our entire talk a unique quality. But instead of using the same old techniques, he tried to stop me many times. Surprisingly for a Western journalist, though, he was patient, listened to my lengthy speeches—particularly the historical ones—and prevented me from doing what I was prepared to do.”

According to RedState, Putin stated in the TASS interview that he would rather see President Biden re-elected in the United States than former President Donald Trump.

After Carlson discussed his discussion with Putin at the World Government Summit, someone asked him whether he was open to reaching a deal.

“Putin desires to end this conflict. It is not going to get any easier for him to negotiate with the longer this [conflict] continues. Over the past two years, one thing we’ve discovered is that Russia has far more industrial capability than we previously realized. I have firsthand knowledge of American government representatives saying things like, “Well, we’re just going to have to restore Crimea to Ukraine,” but that won’t happen until there is a nuclear exchange. That really is crazy.”
