Democrats are looking at political extinction. They had just one year to prove to Americans that they deserved to be in charge of the federal government. Dems control the White House, the Senate, and the House. But in all of 2021, what have they done to win Americans’ approval?
That’s right, nothing.
Under Joe Biden and the Democrats, we’ve seen record inflation, rising fuel prices, an open border, a crime surge, the fall of Afghanistan, and possible war with China. Despite cries from Americans to deal with just one of these problems, House Democrats blindly push ahead with an extremely expensive spending bill.
Pelosi is so determined to push through Biden’s $3.5 trillion package now, because come next year, she might not have the power. In fact, she might not even be Speaker. Signs have been pointing to the end of a Democratic majority in the House. And another bell is tolling for her.
Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-PA) shed some light on his decision to possibly not running for another term in Congress…
The host asked the congressman if he could see himself in Congress for “a long time.”
“I just turned 60. I’ll run for another turn. We’re facing a redistricting in Pennsylvania, so I have yet to see whether or not they’re going to give me a district that I can possibly win in. If so, I will run,” he said, sounding unsure of himself.
A recent poll from Quinnipiac University showed that Democrats are in trouble heading into the midterms. The poll showed that 47 percent of the registered voters said they would rather see the Republicans win control of the House. This is compared to only 44 percent of the registered voters who wanted the Democrats in control. [Source: Breitbart]
Yet another House Democrat is preparing for retirement at the end of his current term. Pelosi only has a slim House majority—only five seats. Several Democrats have already retired or stepped down. Republican-controlled state legislatures are in charge of drawing the next congressional districts in many key states.
Democrats are facing a situation where they will lose many seats. Meanwhile, Republicans are gaining momentum, both with fundraising and inspiring many young and up-and-coming candidates.
On top of that, Pelosi is suffering from the worst approval numbers of her career. She sits at just 35% approval. Meanwhile, she is pushing a radical agenda that is largely unpopular among Americans, which will cost us trillions in taxes.
We can’t predict what will happen next year. But things aren’t looking good for Democrats. You’d think right now they’d try to find a way to win back Americans’ approval. Support an agenda that brings both parties together for the good of the nation. Instead, Pelosi, Biden, and their cronies and plunging headlong into a plan that nobody wants.
Good job, you guys.
