Pelosi Hits Below The Belt With Latest Political Stunt

It’s unclear which is worse: Nancy Pelosi working overtime to conceal the truth about the failed evacuation mission in Afghanistan, or Nancy Pelosi sending a blatant anti-military message with her latest stunt in the House of Representatives. Either way, her move this week clearly highlights a fall from grace never before seen amongst elected officials.

For Democrats, patriotism is unacceptable. America is nothing but a white, racist, imperialist, capitalist superpower that must be stopped from within. Nancy Pelosi and her radical House Democrats proved just that.

This week, the House Speaker blocked the House Republicans from publicly reading the names of the 13 killed U.S. service members in Afghanistan.

Florida Republican Rep. Brian Mast revealed that Pelosi ignored the Republicans’ request to read the names, instead she “just closed the House down.”

“We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation,” Mast told reporters.

Some in the House GOP are wondering if this was a move from Pelosi to conceal and protect Joe Biden from the utter failure that was the Afghanistan evacuation mission.

Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) criticized Pelosi’s decision of ignoring Republicans’ requests by suggesting the incident is an example of “how far our nation has fallen.”

The denied Republican request comes as nearly 40 Republicans have called for president Biden to resign for stranding Americans and abandoning U.S. gear in Afghanistan.

This isn’t the first incident of late that Democrats have shown they are standing behind the botched Afghanistan mission.

Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy introduced a bill last week that would require the Biden administration to recover abandoned military weapons and the American citizens stranded in the war torn country. Democrats blocked the vote. While Republicans have shown they will stop at nothing to retrieve every American and return them to safety, the Democrats have stopped them every step of the way.

But that did not stop House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Ranking Member James Comer, a Republican, from requesting a briefing on the deadly evacuation.

“Committee Republicans invited the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction to brief Congress today, and I appreciate his willingness to come forward and his commitment to testify before the full Committee in the coming weeks,” Comer wrote in a press release:

Between the botched withdrawal, the Biden Administration choosing to leave Americans behind the likelihood American military equipment and taxpayer dollars now reside in Taliban or terrorist hands, Afghan President Ghani fleeing the country with more than $169 million, and the deaths of 13 U.S. servicemen and women – not to mention the thousands of Afghan refugees currently being admitted into the United States – the situation in Afghanistan is dismal and heart wrenching.

Republicans have vowed to keep pushing forward until the American people have answers.

If the 2022 midterms go as expected, the Biden administration will have hell to pay.
