It appears Joe Biden will have to address some unwanted visitors during his State of the Union address this year as a large group of protestors just announced the formation of a US-based ‘Freedom Convoy’.
The original ‘Freedom Convoy’ began with a group of anti-mandate truck drivers and other blue collar workers in Canada. The protest grew in size and spirit, leaving Trudeau dumbfounded and afraid — he eventually fled the city in fear. The ultra-liberal Prime Minister subsequently issued an unprecedented Emergency Order in Canada typically used for terrorist threats and proceeded to label the protest an illegal “occupation.”
Ottawa Police officers have begun enacting immense brutality against the truckers after Trudeau called an Emergency Order. Protestors have been beaten, had their assets seized, bank accounts frozen — even pets are being confiscated by police.
It’s truly a harrowing story of liberal fascism happening just to our north.
However, despite the tragedy in Canada, American patriots have decided to move ahead with a ‘Freedom Convoy’ of their own to protest the utter insanity of Biden’s regime.
A 38,000 trucker convoy is heading to Washington, DC, from Los Angeles to protest pandemic mandates just in time for Biden’s State of the Union Address on March 1.
Kyle Sefcik, organizer and leader of the Freedom Convoy USA 2022, told a local reporter that he is scheduled to leave Los Angeles on Friday and drive to D.C. The peaceful convoy will be composed of trucks and motorcycles and does not intend to gather at the Capitol. Instead, the convoy will protest near the White House and the National Mall with Christian bands and preachers.
“We want to be there for that and tell the president we’re here,” Sefcik told the local outlet
. “This doesn’t even need to happen. If the president said, ‘Mandates are over and the state of emergency is over. Let’s get back to the world and let’s do our thing,’ then we’re not even coming.”
Sefcik warned that his band of protesters could potentially stop all flow of traffic in the Maryland / Northern Virginia area, which is the hub of commuters to-and-from Washington D.C.
“This could stop work until the president says it’s over. People could not be going to schools,” he said. “We’re going to go until the president of the United States says the state of emergency is over.”
Being a gym owner from Maryland, Sefcik said the mandates placed on his business nearly forced him to lose his livelihood. His children, he told the outlet, were also impacted by mask mandates in school and are now homeschooled.
Sefcik’s convoy will likely appear in D.C. along with another convoy organized by Bob Bolus Scranton, Pennsylvania.
It’s been reported that the Pentagon has approved National Guard troops to be deployed in D.C. leading up to the protests.
