According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, the judge supervising Hunter Biden’s plea agreement in about a month was appointed by Trump and gave money to both Democrats and Republicans, which included Hillary Clinton.
On July 26, Hunter Biden will appear before Judge Maryellen Noreika in a federal court in Delaware and enter a plea of guilty to two federal tax violation counts and one gun law infraction.
Trump’s government nominated Noreika in 2017. In August 2018, Delaware senators Chris Coons (D-DE) and Tom Carper (D-DE) endorsed her appointment.
Coons is a personal friend and co-chair of President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign; they both come from the same state.
According to FEC records, Noreika has given both political parties a total of $15,500 over the years through a variety of gifts. The judge gave money to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008. According to The New York Post.
“According to Federal Election Commission documents, Noreika contributed $15,500 to contenders across all political parties from 2005 to 2014.”
“These contributions included $5,000 to Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, $5,200 to Senator Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark.) 2014 Senate campaign, $2,300 to John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid, and $1,000 to former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) in 2006.”
According to the FEC, “Noreika gave $1,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2009 and $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2008.”
According to legal professionals interviewed by Breitbart News, Hunter Biden’s charges are unlikely to result in jail time.
According to Hunter Biden’s attorney, if the judge accepts the plea offer, all further accusations of impropriety made by Republicans will never be filed against the president’s son.
But Joe Biden can face fresh issues when the probe is over. Hunter Biden could be forced to testify before the House Oversight Committee without having the option to assert his Fifth Amendment rights, legal experts informed Breitbart News.
The plea agreement also limits Joe Biden from insisting that his son is innocent, and the administration will have less of a reason to avoid answering questions from Congress regarding a purported cover-up at the DOJ.
