Why are Democrats so determined to let in as many illegal aliens? A bunch of reasons, really. They exploit many of these migrants for cheap labor, throwing crumbs like welfare at them thinking that will help.
But another reason is that the left has so little respect for Hispanic Americans. They actually think that Americans, born in America (or who came here legally and worked very hard to succeed) actually approve of criminals flooding the border. But a new poll shatters the left’s racist and insulting assumptions about Hispanic Americans.
A solid majority of Hispanic U.S. voters want to close the southern border until the epidemic of migrants streaming into the United States comes to an end, a poll from the Convention of States Action and the Trafalgar Group showed.
“The fact that a majority of American voters, including nearly two-thirds of Hispanic voters, want to take the drastic step of temporarily closing our southern border shows that Americans see the impending disaster we face if the border crisis goes unchecked,” Mark Meckler, president of Convention of States Action, said of the poll. This new poll shows that 65.2% of Hispanic voters don’t want an open border. In fact, they want the border closed until the crisis is over. This is a major narrative fail for the left, who seems to be under the assumption that all Hispanic Americans are illegal aliens.
There are many reasons why Hispanic Americans want the border under control. One of them, as we’ve said, is that they are native-born Americans who have nothing in common with illegals. Those who did emigrate, did so legally and worked hard to make a life for themselves and their families (including getting citizenship).
On top of that, there is the inconvenient reality that illegal aliens are often dumped (by Democrats) including Hispanic-majority communities. These hard-working Americans suffer as criminals, drug dealers, and migrants overwhelm their schools, shops, and neighborhoods.
The Texas border is made up of numerous border towns and cities. And they are facing the brunt of Biden’s border crisis. Most of these communities are Hispanic, with some as high as 85% Hispanic. And they are outraged that the administration and Democratic Party are leaving them high and dry over the border.
And guess what? They are breaking Republican, in some cases, for the first time ever.
It’s pretty obvious this issue is a losing one for Democrats. The longer they let the border rage, the worse it will be for them. Americans of all backgrounds want the border under control. The polls aren’t lying.
But Biden is a puppet for the DNC—which is telling him to leave it open. Both he and his party are going down.
