Illegals Swarm U.S. Cities After Biden Abandons Deportations

The Biden administration is struggling to decide if appealing to the Far-Left is politically expedient, or if they will win over more Americans by enforcing immigration law.

A swarm of illegal immigrants – mostly from Haiti – has invaded Del Rio, Texas in the past week, setting up camp under a bridge while facing horrid, squalid conditions. Many bridge dwellers spoke out against their supposed poor treatment by Biden’s border officials, and some of them have even returned to Mexico to collect supplies before returning.

To be fair, the Biden administration did give these migrants fair warning. An illegal trek across the southern border will pose a grave threat to you and your family, many in the administration said. But the porous border, lack of wall, and lax enforcement policies have many migrants trying their luck. Tens of thousands are succeeding in bypassing U.S. Border Patrol.

Bipartisan backlash has ensued as both the Right and Far-Left are in a state of dismay over Biden’s handling of the border crisis. The administration expects it from Republicans, but panic has set in over the backlash from the Left. After all, without his Far-Left voter base, Biden and his radical agenda fails to succeed.

The Biden administration has apparently ramped up deportation flights back to Haiti, expelling thousands from Del Rio each day. However, reports have emerged that in the recent days Border Patrol has come up with another way to disperse migrants — release them into the U.S.

“Haitians have been freed on a ‘very, very large scale’ in recent days,” according to one U.S. official who put the figure in the thousands. The official has direct knowledge of border operations but was not allowed to speak publicly.

The report noted that the latest development from Democrat Joe Biden’s border crisis is undercutting the Biden administration’s public statements that the thousands in the camp faced immediate expulsion.

The report said that many have been released into the U.S. with notices to appear at an immigration office within the next two months.

Another anonymous Border Official spoke out against Biden’s disturbing border practices, saying thousands of Haitian migrants are currently being processed under immigration law, given notice to appear in court, and released into the U.S., bypassing deportation.

“The releases in the U.S. were occurring despite the signaling of a massive effort to expel Haitians on flights to Haiti under pandemic-related authority that denies migrants an opportunity to seek asylum.”

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas tried to claim on Monday that the U.S. Border was not open, but actions coming from his department are telling a different story.

The migrants lucky enough to escape deportation with only a notice to appear in immigration court have largely ignored orders, according to the Department of Justice. Records show approximately 44% of migrants that were not in custody failed to show up for court proceedings.

Rodney Scott, the widely praised head of U.S. Border Patrol that Biden forced out earlier this year, warned Senate leaders that Biden’s disastrous border policies are destroying America’s borders and that bad actors are exploiting the situation.

As the crisis unfolds, we can’t help but to remember the words of Former President Donald Trump and the experts he empowered to secure the border. Everyone involved feared a crisis of exactly this magnitude, but no one knew exactly how bad it could get.

Thanks to Biden, the United States is now knee-deep in a national security crisis the likes of which we haven’t experienced in modern history. Swift action from brave Republican leaders must be taken immediately to stave off further tragedy.
