GOP Rep Met With Trump Day After FBI Raid–This Is What He Said

We first learned about the shocking and disgraceful FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Largo home from Donald Trump himself. Questions still linger over this unprecedented move, although many Americans (and most Republicans) believe it was yet another move by the left in their witch hunt against the 45th president.

A group of Republican representatives met up with Trump just a day after the horrific raid. One of them, Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks, revealed what Trump was like. You might expect Trump to be battered, angry, or even scared. That’s certainly what the left wanted. But this is what Banks experienced.

Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks met with former President Trump at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster Tuesday evening, and said the former commander in chief is “very upbeat,” and has “made up his mind” about 2024—a decision he will make public in “a matter of time.” […]

“He didn’t seem defeated in the least bit—he was very fired up, very upbeat,” Banks told Fox News of Trump’s attitude, just a day after the FBI raided his home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

“It was a great three-hour-long conversation about what House Republicans are doing now to win back the majority and what we are going to do with it when we win,” Banks said…

“He said we are going to like his decision and it is only a matter of time before he will make that decision known,” Banks told Fox News, adding that Trump “enjoyed encouragement” from RSC members Tuesday to “get the decision out sooner rather than later.” [Source: Fox News]

How interesting. You might have expected Trump to be secluded and upset after this disgusting raid on his home. But GOP Rep. Jim Banks and a dozen other Republicans met with him the next day. Banks revealed Trump was “very upbeat” and even “fired up.” The party had a 3-hour lunch with him, discussing strategy for the upcoming midterms.

Banks even said Trump hinted at his 2024 plans, saying Republicans will “like his decision.”

It’s hard not to believe this raid coincided with the upcoming elections. And with rumors that Trump is soon to make his possible campaign plans known to the country. The raid was conducted two days before Trump was going to testify before New York’s AG. It’s clear that the left timed it to do as much damage to Trump’s reputation—and the GOP’s chances—as possible.

Instead, Trump doesn’t seem phased. After all, there is no evidence—either from Democrats in Congress or Democrats in New York—that he did anything wrong. Since he entered politics, the pathetic left has launched one unreasonable fishing expedition after another, to find dirt on him. From the Russian hoax to the impeachment farce to these latest accusations, Democrats continue to abuse their power to find a way to slander the 45th president.

Yet they keep failing. But every time they do this, it only helps Trump recruit more supporters. Americans watch as a corrupt, disliked group of politicians wrongly persecute the one man that put the country first. How do Democrats think all this unreasonable (and possibly illegal) attacks on Trump are helping them?

It won’t take long before Biden, Pelosi, and all the rest regret this FBI raid. Big time.
